I use to love Indys, but issues I've had with independent trucks recently have made my loyalty wane. In the past year I've broken 2 sets of Indys by the HANGER breaking in less than 3 months of skating them. The first time it was a set of the Hollow Indys (the regular 55mm height). I thought it may have just been the hollows so I bought a pair of stage Xl standards and the same thing happened again. The worst part is I wrote NHS a very polite and honest email with pictures and they have never gotten back to me. I have been skating ACE and thunder recently and have had zero issues whatsoever. Luckily I have a NOS pair of stage 9s that I just setup and it reminded me how good they use to be. Such a shame really. Don't have such blind loyalty to a brand to the point of you not noticing issues with the product you are using . The ACE trucks turn unbelievable. The thunder trucks pinch great and are fantastic coping huggers. So at least I found attributes I like in the other brands. Just haven't found that fantastic "all around truck" like Indies use to be. I'm beyond disappointed independent.

Had indys many yrs ago and the axle slipping was terrible. I couldn't go back. Currently Riding theeves which have a design that prevents axle slip entirely.
