I think it's awesome how Vinny keeps all of the shovelware that he has and has not yet previously streamed. It kind of adds some extra value to them, as we all hold a connection to Vinny and the games themselves.

The Hot Shots/Minna no/Everybody's Golf games aren't exactly shovelware, they're pretty solid golf games.

The Frogger game is basically the grid based gameplay of the Frogger Adventures game with the overworld of any generic monster competition DS game.

That Frogger game had a whole lot of potential in its concept with making your own toy and competing it against other toys. Too bad it was just a fucking way for Konami to make a quick buck out of the skid-marked frog...

I remember My Sims Agents, and I remember actually finishing it. I think I had Kingdom and Agents on DS when I was in middle school, and I was perfectly fine with them, to the point where I got them(or at least Kingdom, since I found Agents in a box I had in my closet)used for really cheap sometime last year because I wanted to see if they held up any, and for me, they're good for a distraction every now and then, but at this point I have much better games that I can play.

I wonder if this will ever comeback. It has been 10 months afterall.

god I miss this series. I get that it could only go on so long, but shovelware/egglikes/corruptions are what got me into vinny in the first place so many years ago. would be nice to see one again just for old times sake.

I really miss this segment, I hope he returns to it someday, it was by far one of my favorite Vinesauce segments he’s ever done.

I looked up more gameplay from that Frogger game. It does improve slightly, there's a little more variety in gameplay... but that first level is REALLY lackluster compared to the first levels of even the *GBA games* that preceeded it. Frogger's Adventures this is not.

Seeing all these games always makes me so glad that I rarely ever got licensed video games as a kid. I guess one of the benefits of growing up working-class was that I had to be VERY picky about what games I rented or bought.

I'm one of the many people who use your videos as sort of background sound but mostly I watch them normally, this was the case of me having it as background sound. During that m&m game I didn't know what was going on because I put my phone brightness down and my funky ass brain decided to associate those noise with a uh.. sidescroller with a Japanese ninja in white attire with a blue belt having a primary attack of kicking.

As a kid I played that build a bear game more times than I’d like to admit. The 2 club penguin ds games too. But >Drawn to Life and The Dog Island in shovelware. Frist of all how dare u. Also the ending of Drawn to Life was the first game to ever make me cry, and the original ending of the sequel had to be edited in the “collection” rerelease for violent content. I’m serious. (Spoiler: the original ending was that the whole 2 games was a hallucination that a girl had after suffering a concussion from a car crash, where her parents and presumably little brother died. The final words of the game are “God, please bring my little brother back to me.” This was toned down in the collection version to the much less dramatic narrative of her having the dream after falling off a tree and hitting her head, with her parents and little brother unaffected.) also I think the final boss theme for both games is homage to Newborn by Muse and the villain’s main theme is a homage to Clint Eastwood by Gorillaz and there’s also another song in the second one that sounds like Closer by Nine Inch Nails. the games seems like it would be a shovelware but they’re actually good and I still wish for a Switch port or another game now that THQ Nordic has the rights (I think) and they’ve been reviving a lot of unexpected franchises they own the rights to, there was an iOS port of the first game but it kinda sucked and it isn’t even supported by the newest iOS anymore. but that was it.

I actually remember really enjoying My Sims Agents when I grew up. I was like 5 years old so I had no idea what the Sims is, but I actually enjoyed this game. From what I remember there were some really cool puzzles in it for a kid’s game, and it was almost like Animal Crossing in how you could customize the town with objects you collect, visit different events at different times of the day, it was actually a pretty decent game
