He has said that before, he doesn't care if you block ads because the money gained from youtube is so much less than twitch and his merch and record sales, and youtube takes a significant percentage away as "user fees" it's not a big deal for him to lose the measly crumbs he gets thrown from youtube.

As a general PSA you shouldn't disable your adblocker to support channels. They make an extremely insignificant amount of money from it to the point where your time is worth more. Support them for real via donations or their merchandise. I've previously heard that one YT premium viewer is worth a couple thousand normal viewers but I'm not sure if that's still the case

and if some idiot decides to copyright claim random noises, or a record company claims 0.0006 seconds of a song - that's it. you're done. you don't get shit off the video. it all goes to whoever claimed it - all the profit from the entire video, and the channel owner sees nothing from it. @@AverageMichaelJordans

seeing an "adblocker alert" on one of vinny's videos has me feeling a little... icked out. especially considering both adblocker sections of the video have to be some of the worst i've seen from an otherwise fun editor. possibly a joke, but it didn't feel like a good one. it's enough to have youtube obnoxiously putting sticks up our asses about that recently. i'm sure a lot of vinesauce fans would agree that if the channel was losing a significant portion of revenue from adblocking, we'd be happy to support vinny directly. doesn't seem very respectful this way. anyways, yes, please continue to use your adblocker (most reliably the one mentioned by TorMatthews above me) and stay updated, fellow chat members. your safety, privacy, and time is much more important than allowing youtube to bloat our viewing experience any more than they already have.

@@voidphobia Just to be clear, these sections were 100% mocking RU-vid in their insane attempts to fight adblockers in nov and dec of last year. The video was created in december but took a month to actually get published due to a backlog of videos. We also used vinnys fake ad bit as an opportunity to mock tiktok editing, mobile ads, and those annoying ad blocker pop ups on many web pages. Thats why we didnt say anything about turning your ad blockers off in the actual bumps. Please continue using ad blockers… Titania and I both do! Sorry if the parody of these didn't hit for you! Humor is subjective of course so not every joke will work for everyone.

I’d argue he plays the sociopath regularly, but only as comedy. He’s terrible at imposter because he keeps trying to make it funny, which inevitably leaves a trail back to him. And by God it is great to watch.

@@Person_two Narcissists and sociopaths(Or ASPD)have little-to-no remorse and cannot self-reflect outside of protecting their egos, and are most likely to project themselves onto others. They don't care for truth, ethics, or morals and don't want that fact getting known so they mask up. Games like Among Us reward people who have no value for the general truth. Empathetic people with enough knowledge and experience can easily separate people with differing values and can see right through an insecure person and a person who has no active mirror cells in their brain. Vinny is either not used to not being honest with himself, or overly values sincerity that doing so otherwise is hard to imagine. I don't disagree with you, but what Vinny does and goes through is part of what makes him so endearing.

Removing [Vinesauce] from the video titles was probably one of the worst things they could have done. 10+ years and then its gone. Whether the group exists or not it was a whole brand people knew. It was like when Mountain dew just simplified to "MD".
