Amazing build. Your attention to detail is admirable. Forgive me though.. I've been through the video twice. I missed your explanation of the removal of the bow gun. Why did you choose to remove it..?

I mentioned it when I was talking about the tank's background. Since you missed it when the tanks were upgraded by the brits to firefly the bow gun was deleted and the interior space was needed to house ammo racks for the longer 17 pounder ammunition. All shermans that were converted to Firefly had this feature and it sticks out like a soar thumb. P.S. the plug you see on this model was not something that I added and was supplied with the kit

What SCC-15 did you choose ? Late war British green is a tough color to match.

This one used a model master enamel color. I think it was one of the RAF green paints they made.

Gorgeous tank! Loved the composite hybrid 1C version! No on really touches Dragon's shermans nowadays there some of the worse in the hobby! There m4A1 and m4A3 particularly very bad! You can check out panzermisters m4a3 video nothing seems to fit properly on that one the m4a1 it's really showing it's age now I'd still probably grab the firefly as not easy to comeby nowadays the RFM one is really difficult to get but found someone with 4 kit's go got them all! Asuka/Tascas are great but RFMs firefly has more accurate part's and markings! Pretty impressive we thought! My friends a die hard sherman nut it's unbelievable what he knows about them!
