I hope you enjoyed discovering what I bought with me, quite literally. If you enjoy this kind of content, please let me know! Also, here are some more fun videos for you to enjoy: ru-vid.com/group/PLaG2bBTXx7U6NaZHFDH5Yd7w3Vwj6_qaM
I love all of your videos! I love haul videos, sewing videos (whether they are tutorials or what not to dos), vintage style videos etc. I’m from Canada, so was a little disappointed to learn that Canada is your name, not nationality. If you ever find your way in the Calgary, Alberta area I would love to meet you. There is a cute town south of us called Nanton that is full of antique stores. One sells bags of vintage buttons for a few dollars.
Amazing! I do want to come to Canada eventually. I would love to go antiquing in Canada sometime. I do get that a lot though, people think it is a fake name or the country and nope, just married into it. 😉
Stephanie Canada there is lots of great antiquing in eastern Canada, but you should make a trip out west to visit me anyways lol. We do have lots of antique stores in the west, but I find the prices higher. We also have the “Heritage Park Historical Village” which is a big living museum.
OMG I was watching this video as I was unboxing my package from Backroom Finds and as you were showing the rainbow butterfly fabric, I was actually holding it my hand! This was not an accident, I was meant to see this video today after you posting it two years ago! Love your channel and your online store!
You've gained a new loyal fan! You had me hooked within the first minute 😂 Good sarcasm and dry humor are hard to come by these days. People just don't "get it". So, bravo to you! 😎😀
I did a bit of a deep dive into “Calvine Mills” because I wanted to see more of that beautiful fabric. I found a court case “Calvine Cotton Mills v. Textile Workers Union” from 1953. Couldn’t be bothered reading it, but perhaps there was some unfair treatment of workers that led to the mill closing-who knows 🤷♀️
I love vintage fabric. I always check at local thrift stores. I actually have found quite a bit lately. I think maybe some people were doing some house clear outs during the covid lock down. My favourites are 60's and 70's fabrics. You managed to get some lovely fabrics.
I don't get as lucky here in Orlando with things like that, but occasionally the bins have some goodies. I was so very happy with the fabrics I found this go around, I hope you have the same luck in your hunt for 60-70's fabrics!
It seems so weird to me...I looked at that butterfly fabric but didn't buy it. I mean out of the quadrillion or so listings on ebay it just amazes me we both looked at the same fabric! I loved all the fabric you bought!
Ooh you have such lovely fabric of course I loved the butterfly fabric! I cannot wait till I can see better and can buy things like this to make into clothes for myself yay xx
