In this video I take you on a formation flight with the vintage glider SB 5 of the Akaflieg Braunschweig. Just look over my shoulder and relax while I take pictures at the open door.

Yeah, many thanks. The video sequence was a test more or less to learn how to film such air-to-air formation flights

@@tobiasbarth Well done. ! If you want to make a real "Movie like shot" : Film it like 5:18, slowly coming closer, and let the SB5 make a half roll and halfloop. The disappearence of the SB5b will be very fast and this gives the impression it can fly like a jet-fighter.

Das wusste ich auch noch nicht das die vor dem Flug erst einmal zusammen "gebastelt" werden müssen und auch dürfen. Muss das dann noch vom Prüfer abgenommen werden oder ist hier Eigenverantwortung noch groß geschrieben ?

Ne, ist ganz normal das man Segelflugzeuge auf und ab baut. Einen prüfer braucht man da nicht.

@@tobiasbarth Give the definition of a 'vintage glider' then Herrr Barth that the SB5 would fall into, that is accepted by any Vintage Gliding organisation in the world, rather than your stupid reply befitting a moron. At best it's a 'classic'............... learn the basics.... too many ignorant pilots around these days, especially on YT, that know sfa about what a 'vintage glider' truly is........
