Hey JoMotor, just watched one of your videos for the first time. Really enjoyed it. Great crystal clear imaging, great descriptions. I will be subscribing and checking out your others. Keep up the great work!
Fun Fact: The Bywayman trucks tend to have three distinct casting variations: bases, tool boxes (or without toolboxes), and push bar (single or double). They share their base with the Baja Breaker, so you can sometimes see similar variations with the van.
Note: The wheel is a Gold Hot Ones (GHO) Ultra hot were introduced later on in 1984 and the suspension is because the axle was thinner then normal blackwalls at the time.
Red firebird Funny attracted me here:D I had this and every other Funny Car and anything Drag racing as a kid, most handed down by my older brother but a good number collected by me :) , my collection was pretty big an my mum made sure i kept my toy sin immaculate condition.......sold everything in my early 20's :( needed money for my full scale Automobile
Enjoy! Let me know if there are any other vintage pieces that you're looking for. I'm sure I can help you out with both, loose and carded pieces. :) My son found a vintage Datsun 200SX at a local restaurant... someone left it behind at the table where we were seated. Still rolls like a dream. As for adding some videos to my RU-vid channel, I would like to eventually. Unfortunately, time is not on my side. I am currently working on a hobby blog with lots great info for vintage collectors.
Thanks again VeeDub Matt! That's crazy to find a vintage piece at your table... wow! I might hit you up if you have any extra loosies... I'll be working on a little box for you. Can't wait to check out that hobby blog!
i recently purchased some vintage hot wheels and that red funny car with the fire bird was one of them. Also i have 5 hot wheels "flippers" with hong kong metal bases from the 80's. have you ever done a video on the flippers models?
Bywayman customs can get pretty annoying because of the interior or lack there of. The interior actually holds the window in place. Thus, making reassembly a pain to put back together.
when I was young I use too buy them at thrift stores in the little bundle bag I always picked the best ones haha I don't know y but I some how always knew about them and of course back then was the 90s so I always got the nice 70s ones n 80s ones was I always got the best cars even tho they weren't new cars sometimes but those cars from the thrift stores in the 90s had nice ones big cars too not just hot wheels
