Good job. I have a noname J-38 in great condition. The contacts are 1/16" in diameter and of white metal on the contact surfaces but a black finish on the circumference. The base appears to be of pot metal. The stamp on the underside of the base is worn and unreadable. The base is beveled and squared not rounded on the corners. The top markings are very clear. Wish I knew who made it.

Still not forgotten to do my Morse key tag. will be active this weekend due to FOC Marathon. I ,may even go out /p on Sunday WX dependant. this one is built for the 20m band. Although i will be shortly building a 40m version that I will document the build process. Even you could build one of these Rich !
