Nice idea. I remember when I got this figure I was maybe 2 or 3, and I remember my parents keeping the ax so I didn't eat it or whatever, and they told me I could have it when I showed them I wouldn't. I still have it at almost 41 years old. lol I might have to wind up eating it if this corona virus thing doesn't work out for us all.

I sincerely want to thank you , Toy Polloi. Using this similar method that you described in a previous video I was able to restore my vintage Kenner Death Star Space Station gun launcher mechanism. It took a little bit of patience, and the right Lego parts, but my vintage Death Star is finally back to perfect working condition. First time since the late 1970s. Such a joy to bring back these nostalgic old relics and enjoy them all over again. Without your video, I fear my Death Star would forever fail to be "fully operational." Now my Rebel forces are running scared from this dark "technological marvel." It is again the supreme, ultimate power in my toy room!

Great fix David! I used your o-ring trick to fix the blades on a cobra mamba helicopter. It worked perfectly!

Great fix Dave! Ram man was the 1st He man figure i had as a kid - looking at him now he is like the MOTU equivalent of 'the Intruder' ! I always thought his design bared no resemblance to the construction style of the other figures but loved his 'pop up' action feature! Lego and toy polloi to the rescue once again!! :)

Nice video as always. Do you have any suggestion on how to remove the rubbery "cape" (back piece/skin and tail) from the whiplash figure. Mine has a big tear in it, and due to the tear is located on the side of the figure, right at his shoulder, it is oddly shaped, and hard to glue together in a nice way. So I fugure, if I could remove his rubbery mantle, lay it flat -it would be much easier to fix in a nice way. =)
