Vintage nostalgia? That’s correct today we’ve seen them in person the original Brunswick automatic pinsetter the model A’s! It was super sweet seeing these vintage old pieces in action! I hope you guys enjoyed and there’s more to be posted! 😀

Wow! That's a classic!!!! Past practices on stocking up on those pins per lane was up to 19 pins total. My old friend had a 1972 Brunswick A2 model pinsetter set with the "Golden Age" masking unit.

we had the straight A as we called it. Did some pin chasing at the small 8 lane house. Those were fun times.

Wow, that’s awesome! The center I work at has 24 converted A2’s. Pretty neat to see some straight A’s out there. @GarageBowlingAlley has some good videos with their “A” machine running, but there’s has the original 90 overtravel. There’s is actually a converted A2 machine that they converted back to an A.

I hated the moving deck cables! I once had one get wrapped around the idler in the back corner and it took two of us to get it out from behind the pulley and hook it back up! For their time, they were an engineering marvel but better machines have come along since those times!
