Absolutely some of the best NASCAR history content can be found on The Petty Brothers Racing channel. They continue to archive now historical items from the legendary Petty family racing history. These old decals bring back many memories of watching cars from the Petty Enterprises race shop compete on the track. If I recall, some of those decals were required by NASCAR, and some paid a bonus to the winner who had displayed the decal? Thanks so much for sharing these memories.
Mentioned previously i have too that 5 time Daytona 500 champion decal Great ol ebay find . I belive that would be the 1974 race shortened to 450 ? Anyone know if im right ? The 366 was a destroked 426 Hemi intended for 1971 rules. It only ran at Riverside in Jan 71 to my knowledge. The idea was the smaller engine would get a larger restrictor plate opening.
