Vintage SEMI Truck Museum/ Dodge, Big Horn, Peterbilt, GMC, Mack, Diamond REO, Ford, CABOVER 

Here's a little fact Guys!!.... Guys used to drive these ......CROSS COUNTRY!!!........ WITH LOADS!!!........ON BAD ROADS!!....... they had backs like Wolverine back then!!! Thanks to all those who kept this country running today , tomorrow, and the future!!!

What a fantastic museum! A person could easily spend an entire day there.

Dane, you never disappoint when you feature some of these classic trucks that help shape America. I love it!!

For the kid that's keeping the old trucks up I give them kudos. And for the guy that used to own the trucks that passed away. Lot of great history. I learned on a B model Mack 5 /4 third stick with high low. Yes 40 gear combinations that's why I learned on when I was 14

The red Ford F 1000 was absolutely beautiful Truck 😮

The PETERBILT 352H model is my favorite. Most people don't know the difference between the H model and a regular 352. H model was four inches taller and had larger steps under the driver and passenger doors. The dog house in the cab was also bigger. That DODGE BIG HORN is very nice too!

I remember when those Dodge Big Horns first came out. A local Dodge and Chrysler car dealership had two of them on their lot for awhile! It's too bad Dodge got out of the class 8 truck market. They had some pretty cool and unique trucks. Besides the Big Horn my next favorite Dodge was their LCF series with the swing away front fenders!

As I said in a previous post, I was raised in and around trucks my whole life. I think someone told me, my ride home from the hospital the day I was born was in a white cabover in 1968. Thank you, Dane, this video brings back alot of memories.

WOW, what a find, thanks for sharing. Lots of well persevered history in that building. Even the toys. You always find something to bring back memories. Besides the trucks , in the toy truck line up there was a truck in “Saunders Leasing” colors and logo. I have not seen anything like that since “90’s” . Way back 70’s thru 90’s . We would rent, lease equipment in busy times. I think they were bought out by “RYDER” back when they were yellow trucks. I always liked the Saunders Green. I think the best is yet to come in next video, can’t wait Dane. Thanks, 👍👍

My late Father and I went there several years ago when we were ATHS members. It was and open-house event or something as I recall. Dave Schroyer is The Man, and has contributed so much to the ATHS through his contributions and leadership. Much respect for him. Thank you for driving clear across the state to show this collection to those who are not familiar with him.

Part of a good presentation is when both parties are mic’ed up and I can hear what’s being said. I never heard the first word the guide said. I was able to hear the doors close on the trucks nicely

Hey Dane thank you for sharing this one , it truly blew me away & pretty much left me with little to say for a change . There is one thing I've noticed and that's the color of the Cracker Box dash and interior is the same color as the USSR used and still might use for their cockpits and insterment panels on all of its aircraft and is done for decrease on eye strain . Thanks

Glad I made it to the end of the video because I was gonna ask about the white 9500 that they have. Glad it is getting restored can’t wait to see it done. Thanks for showing that SFA crackerbox. I remember they wanted to restore and that is a gem. It came with factory front and rear air ride.

Like #446. Mint vidya. The skills of the restorers are incredible. Wowww...that blue/white Pete is un-real! ! ! !. Umm, there is a Dodge Bighorn here in Thunder Bay. Makkinga construction still uses it, generating revenue as a dump truck. search; makkinga big horn dodge.

My dad went to… I think Seattle, WA in ‘62 to pick up a BRAND NEW crackerbox GMC from the factory. A little single screw like this one in the video, and he said by the time he got to the yard in Helendale, CA, he could not remember his name. It rode so rough it made him sick a few times!

The last GMC I drove of that year was a fire engine

I’ve seen some of their trucks over the years, but I always figured that they had LOADS of trucks back at the shop.🧐 They usually have a couple or two at a show & they do a wonderful job restoring them…General, Crackerbox, Trailer.🥰 I’ve never seen one that I didn’t like! They even have a newer Pete conventional. That Dodge was quite awesome! Did your mouth drop & that deep groaning in your gut come alive when you walked into their shop?!! 😵‍💫 I even loved the toy collection! Just…WOW! The REO looked so sharp! I saw that truck just after it was done several years back! You could still smell the fresh paint. I teased the guy about…Just give me the keys & let me take it home! I even begged him to let me drive it around the lot after the show. I believe he thought I was kidding. I WASN’T! 🤩 I love REO trucks! 🥰 Now you say they have a donor/junkyard of trucks? PLEASE DO show that soon! I’m so anxious to see what all they have! I just might have to make a trip up there to see for myself…& take a blank check with me! Hehehe! Good stuff! 🥰😎✌️
