I have seen these online for $70-500.
Sounds crazy to me at that price!
I got these from Coleman's for $17.49.
I bought them myself.
Size: 13.5 inches x 8.5 inches
Material: wood (looks like Oak).

We had small metal snowshoes when I worked in the BC Forest Service. They were about the same size, and we called the Bearpaws.
