The die stock looks great! I like the color you chose and it is always so satisfying to take something that you can't see markings on and then to find them when you clean it up! I do have a footprint adjustable in my collection, but not a snail brand anything. Yet...

Hey Ant, nothing better than coming home and getting into the cool air and finding one of your vids. I didn't get the notification even though I turned them on. Just a heads up. That tap handle came out fantastic . Can't wait to see the brace bits finished out ..that was a great score. Those nippers are sweet and that Snail hammer I can't even find a spanner here and now you're gonna tell me they got hammers too! send me an e mail. I didn't see yours listed on your about section.

Ant, nice clean up. Those bits will clean up pretty awesome too. They do make new tool rolls in various sizes and configs. The estate sale I went to last Friday had a bunch of Ridgid pipe cutting and threading tools that I was able to rescue for cheap. A lot of other stuff came home with me from that one including a Milwaukee Sawzall like new for about $10. The hammer is for masonry. Like my friend @Uwannawatch, I have yet to see any Snail tools. I have found a few Footprint punches though. The search continues. George

Ant - Treasure indeed! Have you got a brace to go with the bits? You will have to make or find another roll to keep it all in 👍

I am not sure if it is related, but Craftsman tools in the USA was made by "Sears & Roebuck".
@tony1721
@tony1721 Месяц назад
They were a big store? Are they still Going?? thanks for watching☺️
@timeflysintheshop
@timeflysintheshop Месяц назад
@@tony1721 Sears was one of THE main department stores in the USA for like 100 years. Craftsman was their brand for tools (Dunlop was their cheaper brand) and lawn & garden stuff. They had auto service centers at some of their locations. They had hardware/appliance stores. They had a huge catalog that you could order from. Back in the day, rural America did their shopping in the Sears & Roebuck catalog because it was more convenient than traveling to a larger town. As they fell on hard times, they sold off everything of value (like the Craftsman brand) and bought another dying discount department store "K-mart", but they both just withered and died.
