I love Police Squad and the Naked Gun but I had entirely forgotten about the Rolling Rock adverts, I should be ashamed. As should the writer of the Hank Marvin/Shadows joke 😛 (A terrible but brilliant talent worthy of the Zucker Bros. themselves.)
I know this has nothing to do with this video, but it's regarding The Hitman and Her from 2 years ago that I've recently watched from your channel. My sister in law Andrea was one of Clive's dancers, and she partnered Derek (he has long curly hair). Both are from the Wirral. Andrea danced with Clive for a few years and absolutely loved it,I used to make some of her costumes, although I didn't use much material. Happy memories of staying up late trying to spot her on stage. Thank you for sharing.
That's really nice to hear from you about that! There are quite a few full episodes of Hitman and Her uploaded to RU-vid. Might be able to spot her in some of those.

Spiced sounds like it could be a nice Christmassy drink. I won't be getting squiffy in the run-up to Christmas as I'm currently dosed-up on paracetamol - the wife and I just tested positive for COVID (first time for us, surprisingly). Fingers crossed we're clear in time to meet up with family by next weekend. 🤞🏼
"I wouldn't give a Castlemain XXXX" for the adverts made today compared to the adverts made back in the 70's. Is it just me looking through rose tinted glasses or were they seemingly made with more warmth, humour & content than they are nowadays?
Sorry to hear that Steve, hope you get well soon in time for the festivities. Never had the dreaded covid, despite my wife, my daughter, and her boyfriend being laid low for a while with it. Oh and btw, the drink rum n, coke, I call it Pure nectar.
If commercial tv channels showed their ads occasionally in batches like this, for example before and after a movie, instead of interrupting a film every 5 mins, I’m sure viewers would actually pay more attention to the ads AND enjoy the programmes all the more!
