Michael, my favorite Jazz label is Hat- Hut from Switzerland, it morphed into Hat Art, Hatology and maybe currently operating under a different name. Szabo attracted me because of his ''Exotica'' style, like a mix of Zappa, Santana and Django Reinhardt. I love the sound of massed guitars and massed ukuleles or for that matter, massed mandolins. The snippet you played by Moe Staiano reminds me of the Fred Frith Guitar Quartet, the addition of drums by Moe seems like a sensible choice. Karen Borca might be the only Free Jazz bassoonist still active on the ''scene''. Karen's work with Jimmy Lyons is amazing and she pulled off some wonderful solos amidst the maelstrom of the Cecil Taylor bands.
Gabor sounds great. Moe Staiano guitar army record looks and sounds great - I had not heard of him before. That warped record has a great album cover - worth keeping. Good luck with the flattening process.

It is easy to pick out a Gabor guitar part, I have a few of his album. Loved the samples I always thought of you as a very Impulsive person so I understand your love for the labor The Lucy in the Sky track sounds very interesting.
I appreciate learning about the latest Staiano album and the Edgetone label. There's seems to be much interesting music I need to explore there. You keep hitting those Scandinavian pronunciations on the mark. I can see why you would want to save that Sønstevold album. It does not seem like an easy one to track down. Michael, regarding the record warp I would consider purchasing a “Record Pi” They run for around $274 and go on sale occasionally. There are many RU-vid videos on the unit. I’ll probably buy one at some point. Maybe it’s just what you need unless it’s an extreme warp. Good luck!
