Once you start to like him it’s like going down a rabbit hole. And what’s great is his career was so long that he has so much to offer from almost every decade of his life and different styles too.
Hi Honey & Brown. How are you guys. Wow this is awesome that you are reacting to Frank Sinatra - the "crooner" or "Old Blue Eyes" as they called him . I just love it. ♥♥♥One of my favorite of his is "Fly Me To The Moon" and many others, "Strangers In The Night", New York, New York", "Come Fly With Me" and of course "My Way" among them. I love the song you chose to react to "Cycles" - a song from his later career - I don't remember the song so its a nice reminder - Sinatra was such a talented singer, dancer actor - you guys have to check out the MGM musicals he appeared in. 🥰🥰🥰 Two of my favorites are "Anchors Aweigh" and "Guys and Dolls" and "High Society"... But his singing was so good from the start. Frank had been singing on radio since 1939 - I'm not from that era of course - but I have a collection of his music on my pc - and its so wonderful when you want to feel mellow -- his voice is like silk and listening to him sing is like heaven. After Sinatra started in motion pictures the level of his singing had you mesmorized with "that signature sound" along with the visual - his lean figure and young beautiful face and blue eyes... young girls would swoon and cry out "oh Frankie" ... Anyway thanks again for adding his music to your reactions. I really look forward to more of his songs. Hope you guys and little Moonwalker are doing well. Have a lovely weekend and God bless you all ♥♥♥🙏🙏🙏
Hey! Thank you so much for checking out this segment of ours! I hope you know we really appreciate you so much! You always check out all of our segments and we couldn't be more grateful! I hope you've been well this past year, it's really been so long! And those sound wonderful! I definitely cannot wait to listen more of Frank Sinatra's songs. To be honest, my husband would always play Frank to our son, especially when feeding him or for bedtime, I didn't really notice him at first. But now, after listening to "Cycles", I even love playing the album he made for our son! Once you discover him, you just can't go back! And I didn't know he got into acting as well! I definitely have to talk about that with my husband more and maybe we'll watch a movie he was in, my husband loves those old movies as well! And yeah, I can only imagine. Looking at his younger photos, you can tell all the ladies were on him. haha! But anyways, thank you so much for always checking in on us. You are such a wonderful soul and we appreciate you so much! Thank you for checking our videos, we really appreciate you! Hope you and your husband are doing well this summer and enjoying lots of gardening! God bless! -honey
Such an iconic and masterpiece of a career! Any specific albums during that time period we should check out? Also, thank you for watching and leaving a comment! Much love from the both of us ✌️
@@honey.brown.nerdrealm a few of my favorite albums from this time period are "My Way" from 1969, "Ol Blue Eyes Is Back" from 1973 and "Some Nice Things I've Missed" from 1974. Thanks for asking.
I, perhaps like most people, love Frank's classic period of him doing standards. "Come Fly With Me", "I've Got You Under My Skin", "Luck Be A Lady", "I Got The World On A String", "The Way You Look Tonight", "Blue Moon", "You Make Me Feel So Young", "Fly Me To The Mood", my personal favorite "Summer Wind", and of course, "My Way". Also Frank doing "A Christmas Waltz" is one of my favorite Christmas songs of all time.
