Looks great! How does the difficulty measure up compared to window tinting? What gloves are those? Do you think a set of cragar SS mags could be wrapped like this???
It is much harder then applying window tint. If you are not familiar with vinyl wrapping you are going to find it almost impossible to do. The gloves are to protect your hands from the heat gun and the hot vinyl as you will have to work it wile hot. I’m not familiar with that rim design, sorry. I hope this helps, good luck 🍀
Give it a try, it should work. Make sure the wheels are perfectly cleaned before install. Use alcohol at the end to make sue you remove all the grease.
How long did it take to do all 4? Did the vinyl try to start lifting or peeling? Thanks for the awesome video going to try to wrap the faces of my 26’s tomorrow and this video has helped me:)
99 Hugger SS It took about an hour per wheel. On the preparation, make sure you clean the wheels with alcohol so it doesn’t have any oily spots. The vinyl will try to lift on the corners so make sure you have enough material overlap on the backside of the rim. Good luck! Happy to know this was helpful to you 👍🏼
