@@RigoG09 If you hook it forward and slightly advance the handle mechanism in from the release point it will hold the hook forward. Apply pressure on the handle inward when tightening it back in and the hook will grab the handle. To wrap the door you can't keep the allen wrench engaged - nor will that work every time. The hold still technique is a bit sketchy/unreliable but recoverable. I also recommend to do a longitudinal stretch on that handle wrap b/c the the vinyl will prematurely release from that handle line groove if it is wrapped over without longitudinal stretch. Also, I don't remove the handle for this wrap as the fingers that developed were b/c the vinyl was not stretched parallel to the body line (handle edges) in the first place and so though shrunk, that tension needs to be relieved or it will fail as shown. Sorry the being a bit critical, I only intended to comment on the handle mechanism but then my inner perfectionist kicked in.
@@mtbxcrcr Thats ok Patrick I really appreciate the feedback and your right the wrap did pull apart, I will be rewrapping them again according to your technique. Thanks again.
That latch everyone is pulling towards yourself(where handle has to hook to it) - it has two positions First position - that’s when it pops back when you trying to put handle back in Second position- keep pulling that latch towards yourself. It would be parallel to door itself. Once it’s in second position (closest to you) then you reinsert handle and screw it in from the edge of the door.
