I tell people all the time, even if you have the green light always look both ways when passing a intersection! You could most of the time see a car speeding by and stop before getting T boned it could save your life!

These videos make me want to daily drive a tank.

Severe side impacts are difficult to survive due to the reduced space between the door and the occupants. In severe accidents there are very high forces that are transferred to the occupants bodies and most people die of massive internal injuries throughout the body. Side impact airbags minimize injuries but its all speed dependent. In this case the Audi was traveling at an extremely high rate which created such high forces to the occupant. When at a signal light never take off right away when light turns green and look both ways. Keep your music low.

This is so sad may she rest in peace and if she was pregnant may her baby rest in peace too.

I repeat to my wife several times per week, green is yellow, yellow is red. Meaning, a green light is simply ok to go if you can see all other parts of the opposing intersection. So many people make the assumption that people will pay attention to a couple of colors hanging from light poles. Look both ways 3 times, no matter where, when, or how important that trip to work is, that few minutes late can mean life and death. Drive like it could be your last minute here on earth and how it will effect your loved ones if that minute is lived with even a slight oversight. Drive carefully, please.

First Responders always cover the body out of respect for the deceased and their families and that's understandable. But I wonder if more of the dire, bloody gory scene should NOT be so protected from eyes, because just MAYBE if more people saw the REAL DEAD BODIES in the crashed vehicles, if it might help to stop people from drinking and driving, speeding, and NOT paying attention to what is happening on the road around them. Maybe if this were explained to the families, they would allow it in order to save more lives. It's very sad no matter how you view it, but SOMEHOW, it needs to be prevented better. I'm not sure how I would feel or what I would do if it were MY relative, it's just a thought. But more and more accidents are happening and SOMETHING drastic needs to be done about it, that is NOT being done yet! Perhaps if everyone who goes in to get their license renewed, should have to see these accidents, just MAYBE it would impress them to not drink and drive, not speed, and pay more attention to what is going on around them on the highway. Of course they can't do that, because in our litigious society, SOMEONE would sue whoever made the rule. But what can you suggest that might cut down on these horrible fatal accidents? Every year it gets worse.

Another one of your videos I’m commenting on. My best friend from elementary school was in a horrible crash where she was hit from the side. She has glass in her head and her arm was broken and basically people thought she was dead/ gonna die. An employee at a local Applebee’s I believe ran to help out while the cops were being called and she miraculously survived.

I praise those fireman and EMT they always there for us even putting their own life on the line bless you guys

I paint the roads and freeways. I maintenance the streets for a living.. it’s heartbreaking that people just don’t care. I’ve been very close to being hurt badly and I know workers that have been hurt and even died in this industry. I don’t understand people sometimes. They get mad if we’re doing road work and drive even faster. It’s mind boggling. Someone has got to do the work or these cars aren’t going anywhere without the road being fixed.

Omg this is just terrible I really hope she was not pregnant. If so I really feel sorry for her and her baby. And family and friends and the person that hit her needs to charged.

We are having too many of these preventable accidents and our law makers do nothing about it. We must have comprehensive compact car reform, we do not want to take your compact car away from you but there should be laws that these cars stay out of the hands of those that do not or should not own them, anyone with mental illness should not have the right to own one and there should be a proper background check done, does the person have prior driving accidents, does the driver have the proper training, all compact car owners must be 21 years old to own one of these. The time is now to keep folks safe from these killing machines.

I worked with a Cop that use to do this as his profession with the Police. There are so many variables now on driving that takes you away from it the focus you need to do it. Back in the day it was just alcohol that created accidents. Now its every thing. For the first responders... they probably see things that they will never want to see again.

My 18 yo sister in law an 26yo brother in law died the same way but hit by a tanker at 55mph when they pulled out in front of him . She died on impact an he may as well have . RiP a Tbone doesn’t leave many options for survival .

Thats bad. Intersections on streets with high velocities are always dangerous. Better to transform them to circulated traffic. So everybody has to slow down and yoe even can minimize queuing up.

Please drive safely. Don't drink and drive or text and drive. Be a defensive and courteous driver. Slow down and save a life. It may be your own.

I have never had an accident in my life (knock on wood), what I do is go forward inches at a time who cares what the driver behind me feels , look left and right plenty plenty of times and even if a car hits you because they r doing 100 it will be ur front that will take the hit not you, stay safe

There are accidents and then there are choices that have consequences. Speeding, distracted driving, impaired driving and the like are choices with very unfortunate consequences. Many times the offender survives and the victim succumbs. Most can be avoided. The consequences on both sides are sad bc as I said it can many times be avoided. Even if the at fault person survives their life is changed forever. Including their family. And of course no words needed regarding the victim and how it impacts their family. Very sad.

Just like that. You're on your way home after work, then you're gone because of some 16 - 20 year old brat in a Mercedes/BMW/Audi who somehow manages to survive. I'm so sick of seeing this. I'm baffled as to why we still hand out driver's licenses like Halloween candy. Insurance companies see it; 16-23 are the worst years for driving. Ever since COVID lockdowns began, it seemed police pulled people over less than half as much as they used to, and people responded by driving ever more insanely. It's fucken thunderdome out there some days.

I was the cause of an accident before.. it wasn't fatal, but I was hurt so was the other driver .. I was only 19 then, and was dumb.. that day changed my life forever... I'm so glad everything worked out for me, and the other driver the way that it did. I was given a second chance at life. I'm alot more aware of how precious life, and freedom really are..

This is why I say more tax dollars need to go to emergency personnel. They see and deal with stuff like this. Some more than alot, but they are the ones who we all rely on when in an emergency and to protect us daily. We're depriving them from doing their jobs protecting all of us. My love goes out to the firefighters, cops, and EMT's who have witnessed something like this. My love goes to the family of the victim as well.
