Dude introduced the game as an indie horror game and then vibing to every single song like nothing went wrong. I love it

Omori is possibly the most important game I've ever played, for me personally. It got so much under my skin that it made me decide to go to therapy, no joke. Naturally I would love for you to cover literally anything from the game, but the one thing I really would love is for you to play it. Not necessarily on stream or whatever, just that you experience its story somehow.

Its such a dream come true to see one of my all-time favorite musicians interacting with the soundtrack for my all-time favorite game. There are so many fantastic songs in this game covering so many different emotions and memories. "It means everything", "hanging with the boys", "You were wrong, go back.", "by your side", "good morning", "Home for flowers", "Omori", heccin "puddles"-- the world of Omori has so much music everywhere you look and I honestly think the more you look the more fun songs you will find that will stay in your memory forever. Plus thid game really knows how to make you feel your best WHEN I FLEX!

Golden Vengeance is actually a big homage to the type of music you hear in the visual novel "Umineko no naku koro ni"! Even the title is an hommage to those, like "golden slaughterer"

Your analyses of the songs are extremely thoughtful. It’s nice hearing the comments about the technique and what vibes or emotions that come from the songs themselves. Plus you have such a joy when reacting to songs. Your smile when the songs hit a high point is just contagious. Omori has such a nice soundtrack (and a spooky one at times). It’s interesting to see someone react to the songs without the story context. It allows for a completely different view without influence of “oh this was a hard boss battle” or “this part of the story murdered my heart.”

the final duet makes me cry every time I listen to it. the mix of the beautiful music and all of the context in-game make such a powerful scene that, even though I've heard it 10+ times, there hasn't been a single time I didn't shed a tear.

The way your playing of duet at the end made me cry because it added *another* layer of emotion to that beautiful song and my heart couldn't take it today haha. So beautiful :))

Woulda loved to have seen you react to some pieces like "Underwater Prom Queens", "It Means Everything." or "Sweet Paralysis", "Arachnophobia", "Your Catastrophes - Procession", and of course... "OMORI" (just don't play the Alter version unless you turn the volume down a little.

The entire time I was like "oh my god I love omori" and then final duet came on and I almost cried GAME SPOILERS BELOW: Final duet is the song that Sunny (main character) composed with his sister Mari. This song plays at the end of the game when Sunny comes to terms with accidentally killing his sister when they got into an argument and he accidentally pushed her down the stairs. In the end of the song, just the violin plays because Sunny was the violinist and Mari was the pianist, so now that she is gone, he had to finish the song alone. I'm not really a musician or anything but during Final Duet, you can just tell the happy moments from the sad ones. While the song plays, it shows Sunnys memories of his sister and how much he misses her and they did a perfect job it bringing out the emotion in the song that just makes you wanna cry. You should watch a playthrough sometime or play the game yourself, the ending is worth every hour.

I just discovered this channel (because I love Omori) and let me tell you , your content is absolutely wonderful! I've tried to watch a lot of "X musician reacts to X ost" but 99% of the time they just listen to the music without explaining the train of their thought, basically feels like they don't even care about the music itself. You on the other hand? Not only you look and act passionate, detailing the techniques and feelings they convey, but also it inspires you to participate in your own way (the violin). It was a delight to watch this video and it made me smile all the way, thank you very much!

Omori is an incredibly emotional and powerful game. Glad you're getting into the music, and I'm not surprised tracks like World's End Valentine and Bready Steady Go would jump out at you! I think you might be interested in the track "By Your Side" -- it's another piece with a simple yet impactful melody which very much suits the context of the game in which you find it. (Also, there's a part that sounds like a theremin, woah!)

I am deeply in love with the game OMORI, the soundtrack is just absolutely beautiful, and I actually thought it was very cool this got recommended to me, since I am currently taking a music appreciation course. I never knew how much of the components within it would be associated with the OMORI soundtrack! Like how I learned about the Baroque period, and the harpsicord that was used in World Ends Valentine. The way you played the violin along with the songs was also very majestic!

I love Omori. it's a game that helped me realize that some things that i was doing were not so great for myself. It helped me understand the dangers of depression more so than i understood before. the soundtrack fits the game, so WELL that when i played the game, i almost FELT the music rather than hearing it

I can't hear Final Duet without getting sad. It's a beautiful piece, but the context in which it's used is so heavy. Also, I highly recommend listening to the song "Omori" from this same game. I'd be interesting in seeing someone's take on it without knowing the context it's used in.

Honestly I love the music of omori so much lots of the songs are in my playlist and I always love watching people listen to the music for the first time

Final duet is and will always be my favorite song on the Omori ost because of the way that it sounds before and after the context of the story. Listening more than once you can catch the sorrowful violin the way that the piano steps back and let’s the violin take the spotlight. In this story the person playing piano is Mari and the one on the violin is her little brother, Sunny. Without spoiling too much Mari passes away and Sunny misses her more than anything, the only time Sunny can see his big sister is in his dreams. This song is the one that they never got the chance to play together.
