It was super nice of you to say what you said so kids understand more why you buy so much but it’s also a parents job to explain that to their kids and not make you feel bad for doing your job. I think you do a great job with your videos and you are one of the only RU-vidrs my 6 year son is aloud to watch even if we aren’t in the room.
I’m 21 years old and I love Lego!!! I have a few collections of different Lego sets. I have Disney Moana’s Way finding boat, The Up House, 3 Minecraft sets, and 2 3 in 1 sets. I have a Lego wishlist I really want the new Disney Castle 🏰 and the Disney Duos. I was born with a pre existing medical condition known as a congenital heart defect and Lego has helped me out a lot. 😊
Hey kudos for letting the kiddos know they aren't quite in the same spot as you are. I know there are lots of kids that really look forward to your content and look up to you and it speaks volumes that you care about them and their own enjoyment. Lego has been an important part of a lot of our lives growing up, I just hope it's having the same positive impact on kiddos still. Being happy and creative with what you have is key and helps little minds grow. Anyway great job bud, you are wiser as even more carrying as you are getting older, well on your way to being an awesome dad and leader in your community.
As a young teenager building LEGO, that little pep talk that Bricksie did was so encouraging and inspiring. Ever since I was 4 I loved LEGO , and I think I will forever. Thank you Bricksie
I finished building my custom botanical garden set last week and it turned out great. I ended up making it 1 baseplate and a 1/4 so that I could keep the large pond on one side; if you only make it 1 baseplate wide you have to sacrifice the pond into a much smaller version which I think doesn't look that great considering the great pieces you get with the set (the fish). I also managed to make the inside tree larger using the elements of both and several custom flowers. Have fun with your garden.
Also for the kiddos: you've been collecting for many years, probably longer than some of them have been alive. I don't collect much Lego, but I collect music memorabilia and some of the stuff I have were things I bought with my allowance as a kid in the late 80s. It takes a long while for a collection that size, and that's without having to actually build and design stuff like Bricksie has for his Lego city.
My wife is wondering how you combine sets to make them larger versions as well as how you make them modular for the city. She wants to build her own Lego city after watching yours grow and evolve. Do you think you could make a video showing and explaining how? (If you have made one sorry for asking)
Looks like your twins are growing up really fast. I grew up getting Bionicle sets back when I was a younger kid. And speaking of Bionicle, I grew up watching Bionicle movies and it was such a blast!!! I've been wanting a Bionicle 18+ set so badly!!!
Was waiting for you to get the botanical gardens. I've seen some really nice mocs made with it and if you combine it with some nice outdoor gardens (with maybe a fountain), it can be spectacular!
Serious PAB wall envy over in the UK. Our local store in Liverpool has been so poor for months. In Canada and the US you guys are getting such better pieces.
Those grey chain link panels would make as amazing grey top outdoor basketball court. If you build a park you can you those blue light saber blades as water in a spray up kids water play area. What about building something (hotel) on top of both the noodle shop and bakery, combined the roof It could have a roof top deck that looks out to the ocean
For VIP days in the UK we had to spend £200 for all the GWPs so I bought Dobby and the expecto patronum at double points and the technic batmobile and batcycle at double points and both of these were 20% off too (I think there are different things on sale based on region). It came to £199.96 so I bought a brick separator to get all GWPs 😂
I saw the Lego Marvel Gargantos Showdown set (76205) marked down at a local store, and although I dislike "occultic"-themed sets, they sometimes have useful parts. In this case, it's olive-green tree limbs. When I looked up "green tree bark" on the Internet, I learned that Palo Verde trees (ideal for a dry climate) has that kind of tree bark. Its foliage is a bright yellow though. Bit of an unusual tree!
Great haul! I picked up two of the Botanical Garden sets on AFOL day. I just finished my MOC and you’ll definitely need some extra clear pieces to make it a full building. Love your channel! Keep the amazing content coming!
You need to Bricksieville story telling for your minifigs. The dungeon is going to be awesome, don't forget torture devices and slimy guards and lots of skelltons.
Obviously, you can not do it in Canada but in France, in my local lego store, they know me very well and I take cups to put the coins but at the time of payment, the employee puts me everything in a bag and keeps the shots while making me the reduction
Hey man, I have an idea… you should place your Disney castle dead centre of the city in the amusement park, then around the edge you should put your taller buildings and then build inwards towards the centre where the amusement park will be. I think it’ll open up your city up and will look visually better as you will be able to see all of your buildings easier!
I have a question to ask you. So I have the LEGO Titanic. And I want to make it look like it’s moving forward. Brushing against the water. How do I do that?
i think the titanic is so so BIG for up there in sky of city ... move it to ur office part of lego room near harry potter train n move that big train in front of those building of station , titanic and big harry potter train are match in color too
Hi there. Can you please do a detailed video of you building the 2 Botanical Garden sets and making them into 1 building. I am trying to do the same thing. Love your channel.
Hello bricksie do you happen to know where I could find the Lego 8043 motorized excavator for sale at I want one so bad but can’t find one for sale in Canada
I'll say it again, you're lucky you have a huge pab wall near you, the lego store near me isn't big enough to get all the pieces and have a bunch in stock
I love your videos and I understand spending thousands of dollars at a Lego store at once since it is the cost of your job. I think many people want to do what you are doing which is why you might have received backlash. But my question is, since you are running out of space in the city would you ever expand it more?
I pic up the technic Crain at a great price at K mart $35 so savings. for the part s I need for a moc build 😊 so happy. Noodle Shop $45 still hear good to get X2. Of it to you s to build a moc noodle Shop. To add into Ninjago city market set. 😊 Plus add more to the build.
Man i wish my Lego store has white masonry bricks, IVE BEEN DYING FOR THOSE! I made regular trips, as well as calling and asking about pieces but still nothing. 😭
Your Lego drawers are very neat and tight. If you don't mind me asking where did you get your different size clear boxes for your Lego drawers? Thanks again keep up the great work.
