Hey man nice set up, just got a lexus myself. Do coilovers/bags affect camber? I just got rims for my car and im deciding if I should go with bags or coils.
Yes it will definitely effect the Camper especially airbag system, all of your tires will be wear out on the inside and there’s nothing that the alignment can do about it, You had to pay a price for looking low and looking good😉 but in my opinion you have to go low once you get rims or else it won’t look nice, it’s like having a 12 inch woofer in your trunk and listening to the 70s music.
Looks great! Real playa shit, haha! I would remove the cupholders from in front of the passenger airbag unless you want to see your passengers face cut in half by cheap wood and metal in the event to a car accident.
Thank you very much for the comment Alex, my wheel set up for the front is 20 x 9 with +20 offset, 2 inch lip. And for the rear is 20 x 10, +32 offset, 3 inch lip. 114.3 bolt pattern.
I really like the floor mats, do you have the exact name or a link of where you got them? Would really like to buy these for my car! Really good looking car, very nice what you did there!
Did you have to shave or roll the fenders for those rims to fit and not rub? I got an 11 gs350awd and looking to put some nice wheels on it but I don't want to have to roll or shave, but want big enough to atleast fill up most of the gap.
patrone t. Sorry bro I don’t, I can sure introduce you to someone who does. His craft is professional, my set is a DIY, not good enough to charge. I appreciate the comment though.
patrone t. You can follow TN auto inspire or supreme society on Instagram, make sure to look for Tuan, tell him Chris Mechanic sent you there so he can take good care of you.
wheel set up for the front is 20 x 9 with +20 offset, 2 inch lip. And for the rear is 20 x 10, +32 offset, 3 inch lip. Front tire= 225-35-20 rear tire= 245-35-20
@@lrsequeira front lip needs to be cut in half right at the middle because it’s a bit sort, I believe that this kit was made for the 2009 and up and my car is a 2007 so the front bumper is a bit different. To be honest with you, this particular kit is very poorly made, especially the front lip, there was a lot of modifying to make it right but it was worth it because it turned out really nice.
wgho did your work on your car im trying to find a place in L.A. to do mines and put more power in my engine and one of my front head lights is going out
Damn car is clean 👌you put a chin spoiler on just picked up a 11 gs350 awd. Said it was a bitch to put the lip on so thinking 🤔 should i go down that rd
This lip kit actually fits your car perfectly because 2011 has a bigger bumper than a 2007 and they did not have the size for the 2007 which is my car so I have to go with the 2008 and up that’s why I have to go through so much trouble, this lip kit does not cost a lot but the labor they put into it might cost you a bit, personally I think this is the best looking kit for this model. Good luck have fun and enjoy!
@@janietram appreciate you man your car looks nasty i need my bumper repainted so probably get the chin and have them fools put in the work . ✌bro be safe
How safe is it to buy a 160k mi 2007 GS350 /ES 350 here in OC /LA. Also my budget is 6k can't find any for that price and miles. Any thoughts, ideas Cool car you've got
Clay unsafe! I don’t recommend any vehicle over 160k, don’t get me wrong there are some cars in good condition at 160k but what are the chances of you finding it. But if you decide to get the car with that kind of mileage be prepared to spend some money because many things will go bad soon and that’s talking from experience. And if you’re going to make payments, a budget of $6000 and $10,000 car is not a big difference in payment. And if you have $6000 cash I would highly recommend using that to down payment and get a much better car.
@@janietram Thank you so much for the prompt reply. I'm really worried. This will be my very first purchase. I wanted something reliable (Lexus), 2007 or up, but unfortunately they're still "expensive".
I built it for myself but I don’t do this for a living. I can definitely introduce you to a friend of mine who has a shop and he does this professionally here in LA.
I don’t really recommend it because of the fitment issue. You have to have a shop re-modify to the exact fit of 2008 front bumper but if you don’t mind all that work and here it is.Duraflex 103978 2006-2007 Lexus GS Series GS300 GS350 GS430 GS450 GS460 R-Sport Front Lip Under Spoiler
I’m looking at a 2009 gs350 rwd with 150k miles on it. Would you suggest as a daily driver? Is it reliable? They’re asking for 7500k would you recommend?
No I don’t recommend buying any vehicle over 100,000 mile, I also don’t recommend anything over 10 years old unless you work on the car yourself because it will soon need major service at those mileage which can Do a heavy damage on your pocket. The car is reliable or not really depends on who was the first or second owner, These vehicle is known to burn some oil when they reach 100,000 miles due to a valve problem, other than that the car is pretty reliable due to its relative relationship with Toyota that is known to be “reliable”. it can definitely be a daily driver as I am dailying my baby lol. 7500 for the year and mileage looks to be OK.
The Lexus ES350 and the Lexus GS350 are both midsize, four-door luxury sedans, but they are very different from each other. The Lexus ES350 has front-wheel drive, while the GS350 comes with rear-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive. The Lexus ES350 has an engine with 268 horsepower. The Lexus GS350 has a higher-output engine with 311 horsepower. This should translate into much better acceleration in the GS350.
Comparing interior space and trunk space, these two sedans are very close to each other. Interior volume for the ES350 is 100.1 cubic feet and the GS350 comes in with 99 cubic feet. For trunk space, you get 15.2 cubic feet in the ES350 and 15.9 in the GS350. For all their similarities, these two Lexus sedans will vary in their driving characteristics. The Lexus ES350 is a smooth, quiet cruiser that will waft you effortlessly down the road. The Lexus GS350 is also smooth and quiet, but it also has a rear-drive performance feel with plenty of power behind it, comparable to the German autobahn flyers. Price is another consideration, with the ES350 having a much lower price than the GS350.
@@janietram I knew they had to be 9's in the front, they fit PERFECTLY! Most rim companies go straight from 8.5 to 9.5. I have an 06 GS3 waiting on 19x9.5's cause 9's aren't available. I'm not a big fan of poke but that's what I'm getting. Lol. Your GS puts alot of new cars to shame!💕
