It was done when this video was uploaded but I changed direction in how I wanted to go with it pretty soon after I uploaded this. Then life happened, work, etc. Something should be coming out pretty soon though just in a different form.
Hey when about will these be available to the public please? This vid is like 6 months old already & people have been asking for at least a month. Please let us know as this would be a really useful mod. Especially considering how easy, quick & simple a RGH3 mod is compared to others. Thank you.
Could you point me towards what type/# IC you used?? IM not too well versed with electronic hardware, or IC's in general but to me that looks like some sort of dual channel analog switch... Idk which type to get, since i don't know how precise all the communications on Cpu_Rst need to be. Im trying to integrate a v.2 viper with the rgh3 gow xbox I have now, Hopefully you'll pump these out soon! I'll DEF my hands on some of them :)
Question: Some people are working on stuff like adding a hard drive to the internal nand header. And there's a QSB that lets you use a flash drive too with Trinity's. However, that header isn't always disabled in retail mode. Will there be a pad on this that can be used to tell which NAND we're on? Then that can be hooked up to something like a relay to disconnect the hard drive from the internal header?
That's such a niche thing that I wouldn't really add an extra pad for it. With that being said the original 4gb module on trinity consoles is essentially just a flash drive with a custom header and file format for the 360. On top of that people have been using my Trinity Memory Addon QSB for many years and have never had issues on retail and before then people were wiring hard drives up to that port since Trinity consoles were first released without any repercussions so it's honestly unnecessary.
@@TheModShopCO Yeah that makes sense. I guess it's more a precaution since I can put a profile with homebrew data on that drive to keep drunk friends or a kid from logging into it on retail
@isa Where did you order them from? I heard JLC PCB has issues making them, to the point where they wouldn't let me order any. Ended up getting some from either Weekend Modder or Phenom Modder.
