Yup apparently one of the main reasons was cost, as GTLM has now more become a manufacturer battle class. Similar to LMP1 Hybrid, so it really only attracts the manufacturers that have the cash these days. But what about GT3, do they still sell the GT3-SR versions for privateers, I watch a lot of GT racing and do not see many of them either,

The reason dodge could not keep up was they had to make more put stops because of the v10 earring so much gas

Hellcat9k very true. But when the factory backed Vipers were on the scene, the Vettes couldn’t win. I believe that’s where the guy was coming from. That is a fact. I watched all those races back then. Vipers dominated. Loved the Vettes too but only one could win. Been loving the Vette dominance ever since though. Dodge just doesn’t have the bucks to do what Chevy can in racing. Jake been doing work. Loved the win last year.
