Most of those houses were designed without any thought for parking, most people didn't have cars before the 60s. My parents have photos from the 60s, the streets were mostly empty.

Traffic Wardens don't enter these areas as they know they'll be surrounded immediately and it'll end in physical violence and the police will do nothing.
@ianbeale2527 Then they will have to make it a police matter because pedestrians should be walking on the pavement. You wouldn't be able to walk a buggy through that space or use a wheelchair through that space.

People half on the road half on the pavement getting their ice creams. The tyre shop opposite Lebanese Grill people are blocking the pavement waiting for whatever they're waiting for not giving you eye contact because they know they're doing bullshit. If you want to see a car do a u-turn on a Crossing or park on zigzag lines stand outside Nando's in the town centre. You see it 4 times an hour. The driving and parking habits in Slough are atrocious.

This is due to immigration. This happens all over the town I live in, yet my parents were threatened with legal action, when I put my first car on their lawn whilst modifying/repairing, in the 90’s. Country has been inundated with people, who hold zero respect for the culture, so the parking really should be the last thing anyone is worried about.

House keys are very effective at damaging automotive paint. Make sure to NEVER drag your house keys across car paint when a vehicle is parked on the sidewalk. This would result in damaging the car in a way that will upset the owner very much.

It's irresponsible and disrespectful for others who use the paths, I understand there's a minority who spoil it for the rest of us but my comment about Birmingham that says it all, is due to the lake of adequate parking and inconsiderate parking, half on half off the kurb. It's a really badly designed road network in and around the city of Birmingham, fast roads coming to a slip road with little stopping distance before coming to a complete stop as two or three lanes merge into one. Two major road networks crossing with maybe 200 yards to switch, it causes a bottleneck. But I thought the short sharp line said it all. I did point out about the bad parking in Luton. If you want to be a millionaire become a traffic warden in Luton. However you didn't say anything about Luton, which makes me think you truly believe Birmingham isn't as bad as I described, that would make you a twenty something year old Lady who lives in Birmingham and has just accepted and think what they do in Birmingham is normal. Its not virus dammed... Its the local council which is bankrupt... They can't do anything about rubbish collection and traffic control... Many streets next to busy High streets should be residential parking only... And every household has 3-4 cars... Where and how they can park when they come home after 10 hours shift
They probably want to get it scratched to put in a massive claim on their insurance. Then get the job done by a cousin for a fraction of the insurance claim.

There is a car key hack, it does wonders. You’ll see how quickly they’ll stop parking like this when they see multiple scratch marks all across the car.
General.cause for this is the lack of policing. WMP have allowed this to exasperate by not policing the problem. It's an absolute farce how people park around innercity birmingham. Totally the fault of the police.
Happens on my road everyday which makes getting my son down our very steep hill in his wheelchair, very dangerous. Because on one said of the pavement are cars and the other side is wheelie bins. None of the drivers that park like morons have any consideration for anyone and when you say anything you're told to mind your own business.
Its because each household has too many cars, back in the day it wa just the husband or head of the family that drove, now you got the husband who drives, the mrs has got a car, the son then gets a car, then the daughter gets a car all in 1 family, theres nowhere to accomodate 4-5 cars per household
The biggest reasons are supposedly egos wanting to showcase their car, being terratorial if it's done outside their own home. On other occasions it's to prevent from scratches from others trying to park next to you. Most likely if in an area with too many bad drivers
20 years ago I was able to play football on my street. Hardly any cars. Most houses didn't own a car. Now, every house has at least 3 cars. No parking spaces.

Did you know that the white casing on a spark plug when broken up into little pieces, can be thrown through car window glass with absolute ease, the ceramic becomes like a small projectile "dotter" and shatters the glass upon contact... Very handy if a doggo is stuck in a vehicle on a hot day, just don't use and abuse them for dealing with idiots who park like this, that would be very naughty indeed 😉
It always astounds me that a passport needs to be renewed every decade… but you can be 16 years old, get a driving licence and NEVER renew the license in the form of taking a test to see whether you still can drive properly throughout your whole life.
