Virtual Grand Rounds: Loneliness and Connection 

This presentation describes what is understood about the current epidemic of loneliness including its connection to physical and mental health. This will include a description of the relationship of loneliness to violence and suicide, as well as potential strategies to mitigate this epidemic featuring unique programs.

Explain the link between loneliness and physical health problems
Discuss the relationship between loneliness and mental health issues including violence
Describe model programs addressing the issue of loneliness
