Never thought of OSC 3 as FM modulation. The moment you said it the light bulb went on in my head! Dimly I admit but it did go on. Right, can't chat, off to play with my Behringer D for the rest of the evening.

I recently got one of these, its really exceeded my expectations, always sounds great and is a joy to use…. My 101, MS20 and Pro One days maybe numbered.

Of all the synths I’ve owned/played. This for me is still the one I use most. It’s a classic and as you say, it’s just so inspirational- if a solo doesn’t sound good on a Minimoog,.......

Back in 1975 I was a 16 year old channel surfing on a Saturday night here in the US. I stumbled across ABC's Wide World in Concert: Journey to the Centre of the Earth. Here was this guy with long hair, wearing a cape, in the middle of a symphony orchestra, playing all these keyboards! WTH? Several of the keyboards were covered with knobs that he was getting some amazing sounds with. I never heard anything like this before! I had to find out what the hell this thing was. I bought all of Rick's albums, then went on to YES, ELP, etc... until I found a used Arp 2600 for $1200 at a music store. The Mini Moog is iconic like a Stratocaster or a '57 Chevy. I finally got a Behringer Model D last year and my Journey was complete.

Gonna watch this later. Love my Subsequent KingKorg combo. All brands have at least one synth that is interesting but we all have our favs.

lol That's my logic... I can sell my synths for most of what I paid, so it's really like a savings account that makes nice music. :-P

I have already a Slim Phatty but the filter seems dark. It seems that voyager and even the grandmother has the same dark spectrum. Do you think that Moogerfooger Filter pedal sounds like this Model D filter super open and beautiful drive filter?? I need a Moog filter than open till super high freq. After Model D is there any Moog with this filter??
