I wonder if anyone who grew up singing this song in school every Friday ever gets over it. :) I really appreciated the opportunity to play Mahler 2 with you all some years ago when I returned to visit my Mom. Thanks so much! And it means a lot to me to still see some familiar faces from 40 or so years ago. I sure would like to hear that someone has made an orchestral arrangement of this that has a little bit of that "John Williams" kind of flare, something triumphantly celebratory, for you all to play when the concert hall can be opened up again. That will be a great day.

As an Alaskan, I end up getting teary when I hear our state song and how beautiful it is.
