Virtual Roundtable: Have your say about Canada’s new Early Learning and Child Care Legislation 

On March 9, 2022, Olivia Chow, lawyer Stephen Shyrman and the Atkinson Centre held a virtual roundtable.
The Government of Canada is seeking feedback from stakeholders to help inform new Early Learning and Child Care legislation. The feedback received during the roundtable will be consolidated and submitted to the Federal Secretariat on ELCC.
While a Member of Parliament Olivia sponsored legislation for the first Early Learning and Child Care Act in 2009. Both Olivia and Stephen are very familiar with federal legislation in areas of provincial and territorial jurisdiction. Bring your questions and ideas.
