This brings back memories.... the moment when you're being rolled into the OR is a pretty crazy experience (I'm just glad they gave some of the the "I don't care" medicine to help me "relax" lol)
@@annomaly751 it’s a sedative (I don’t know what medications they use), they always give it to patients before the anesthesia to help them stay calm. If you’re worried they may not give it or may forget to give it, you can always talk to them to make sure. They’re always happy to answer any questions you have so don’t be afraid to ask. Hope your surgery goes well!
i was really shy when i was younger so being pushed around made me feel very awkward, but now that it has developed into social anxiety, i never want it to happen again
Saaaame, I was just staring at my IV for the whole time when they twere moving me around the hospital after my surgery and just thinking "please faster cuz I wił die of this awkward Situation" and then we went on the lift where Was just silence 😭
same the only difference for me is i have had surgeries its still scary every time as soon as the surrounded the patients bed i could feel my anxiety start especially when it kind of sounded like they said my name
I had my first surgery 20 days ago and I was too nervous because the doctors said that, due to a medication that they did not warn me to stop taking, the anesthesia could sleep me forever, now thanks to this video I remembered it again 😖
When I was 4, I remember being carried to the surgical room and yelling for my grandma. I remember them trying to put the oxygen mask on my face and I kept moving my head. Everything when to black after that
The first time I got rolled into the OR my anxiety was THROUGH THE ROOF. I’ve done it multiple times now and I still get the anxious shivers as they roll me back😰😰
this brought back memories of every time I have had surgery, I remember one time I has so scared I kicked a doctor and did everything in my power to to not fall asleep lol
Rakakakaka Rat you get put to sleep and everything just goes black.. the next thing you know you immediately wake up. I didnt remember much of the beginning but it felt like someone was forcing you to sleep and you get like loose. But the part of which i remember I didnt like at all.
This is actually scary mostly everyone is afraid of the hospital because when your inside it’s fear and disturbing atmosphere but there heroes and cure you back to health but at the same it’s uncomfortable and scary and most ppl are just jumpy
I've been in this situation before. what's scary the most for me was going to the operation room and surrounded by doctors and nurses.... it's so scary 😭😭😭
I had reconstruction surgery on my left ankle after a car accident that I broke the ankle a little bit over 8 years ago. I even had my appendix removed just over 4 years ago. On my ankle and I was so scared of the surgery. My appendix that I wasn’t. I want the pain to go away on my right side of my belly. After that surgery that I felt like my old self again. Having the appendix removed is no fun. My recovering time that I bounce back really quickly because that I wanted to go back to do things again.

I remember when I got surgery, I was like 5, I was like “Hell yeah! I’m a big kid I can do this” then when they tried putting the sleeping gas mask on me, I started to throw hands until the doctors held me down and it all went black. Afterwards, I woke up, saw a drop of blood on my gown (I got my tonsils removed) and screamed bloody murder for my mom 😂😭
What these 360-degree videos are for is for training. Some of these could be used with the camera being in the bed to simulate the eyes of a patient. But for now, the game is over. What if someone wants to get a job working in a hospital in a department similar to this one.
I have had 3 surgerys the 2 where just I spilt hot tea on meh and now a part of skin on my leg was removed and put on meh neck and the last surgery was removing 4 of mee teeth
Hmm, I am surprised that they brought the bed all the way into the OR. In Germany there usually is a bedding room at the "border" between teh general area and the OR area. Patients move from their bed to the operating table there and are then brought into the OR on the operating table. On another note, it is interesting how on pretty much all hospitals you know you are at the entrance to the operating wing when there is just an empty wall with a single big sliding door in it.
This reminded me of when I got my tonsils removed. *i was just like this person except I was SCRECHING bc I was in so much pain and agony* ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh but that was like idk 5-6 yrs ago?
Not related I guess but I went to a hospital few times one of the times was when my mom got into a fight with my dad and took some random sharp small thing and then made four kinda deep cuts into her right arm.
