When two patients catch the same virus, Dr Halstead and Dr Manning investigate.
Season 2 Episode 4 "Brother's Keeper"
Dr. Choi has an elderly patient who needs surgery, but his son is refusing per his father's previous instructions. Dr. Manning and Dr. Halstead are dealing with an epidemic when a virus is spread to multiple patients. Meanwhile, Dr. Reese and Dr. Charles deal with a patient who is on heroin withdrawal and has an overbearing mother who is later discovered to be his pimp, part of a sex trafficking ring. Also, Dr. Charles' daughter becomes the newest member of the epidemiology department.

Asking yes or no questions, there are machines that read the movement of a person's eyes, and no... he didn't look THAT weak he couldn't at least make hand signs or scribble. I’m assuming it’s bc CRE is spread mainly through only contact only or through infected equipment, which would mean they probably only use contact precautions in which case they’re only required to wear a gown and gloves ^^

I was in hospital for 10 days due to a car vs lorry stand off If you can’t guess I was in the car and the lorry went into the car. 5 people and I was the only one ingured lol. Hospital is fun though except for one of the nurses who complained because I couldn’t eat 1 weetabix

I had a lung infection back in 2013, worse feeling ever. Whites of my eyes were burgundy/deep red, passed out about 6 times, woke up three mornings unable to inhale. Heard that that's what COVID patients experience, which is why I ignore the conspiracy theories and scientific/medical advice from people who couldn't pass elementary science class. Breath is life! Don't take it for granted.

An abscess is when a pile of puss builds up. Can be life threatening. The abscess was blocking her airway so she couldn't breathe. So they need to drain the puss, otherwise she'd die.

you can actually be without oxygen and without severe damage for up to 4 minutes. it seems like you are only able to hold your breathe for maybe a minute, but your body is capable of much longer.
