OMG !!! I'm EB2-NIW filler with PD Nov. 23rd, 2022. Waiting for another month to be current and get an interview at the Consulate !!!. Thank you Oscar for your videos !!!.
it's difficult to say for sure because the situation changes. If you assume the situation will be similar to now, there is a one year and a half wait time more or less. But, since the situation evolves, you need to keep checking
Hello Oscar! Thanks for the very informative videos, keep up the good work! Question, I had my EB2 NIW petition approved, and I’ve received the email from NVC that I’m documentairly qualified, should I expect to hear from NVC once I’m current on the Visa Bulletins table B? Or just until I’m current within the final action dates. Thanks
Oscar I bought your material yesterday. I just want to ask you that I have a masters degree from US and two more masters in engineering almost complete, how do I a mention those in my application. Should I wait before completing my degrees.
Hey my case is f2a and my pd November 2020 Dq augest 2023 when do you think I will get my interview letter please can tell me how long do you think it takes
Thank you Oscar for your valuable info and online courses which I used. Do you have a table that shows the visa bulletin numbers for EB 2 and is it possible to calculate the longest wait time since 2020 for “rest of the world”? And then the average wait time. I realize it’s probably not possible to get it down to the day, but just wondered if you thought it was possible to get a pretty close estimate.
Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by this, but I don't spend a lot of time doing this kind of estimates that will most likely end up being wrong in the future .
Hello oscar ubr always helpful. My case is current and waiting for 10 month after DQ . I hav valid USA visa b1/b2 can i apply AOS after reaching there in USA
@OscarsGreenCard, considering been here in the US and having an approved I-140 with a Priority date of Jan 18,2023 can i file my adjustment of status since Table B in February bulletin was 15, Feb 2023.
Oscar, do you think that USCIS sends the information of who filed an immigration process to border officials and that could be difficult when the person wants to enter as a tourist?
They have and might ask you, so be prepared to have proof that you will visit only as a tourist by that time. I've seen another Russian lawyer video about that
@OscarsGreenCard I know that I will not be called for the interview until my pd is current But could u please explain how the DQ COULD affect my interview My priority date is 8th March 2023 and DQ is 16 ugust 2023 Thx in advance
Many thanks for what you have been doing. Your content has helped many of my fellow doctoral students. I do have a couple of questions which many of us would be grateful if you decide to share your two cents. First question is regarding concurrent application of I40 and I485+travel doc: does it benefit for F1 students from China and India? Are they even allowed to apply concurrently because of the backlog? And secondly, how difficult or easy is it to apply for eb1 after a couple of years of applying for eb2niw?
Hi, thanks a lot! No, nobody can file concurrently right now in EB2 regardless of country (only if you have a previous PD). To your second question, not sure what you mean, it's not about wait time but about your credentials
@@OscarsGreenCard Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it. About my second question, I meant to ask if a doctoral candidate or recent PhD graduate from China or India, applies for EB2 NIW (because the profile isn’t quite good enough for eb1), can they later apply for EB1 after a couple of years keeping their previous PD of NIW application. (I also ask this question on behalf of 4 other PhD students of my lab. They are thankful to you for your informative videos and really appreciate all that you do.)
