Clark and Lana makes more sense but it was more toxic because they were on and off to much, and they always kept secrets from one another. With Lois he didn't feel he needed to hide anything and they weren't obsessed with each other, their love grew over time.
On an other show maybe Clark and Lois but in this show Clark and Lana should've together in the show they spend eight years with Clark and Lana then all the sudden fucking writers decided he loves Lois it's stupid it's not just the characters tom and Kristin have a better chemistry than tom and Erica for me this show will always be my biggest let down
I’ve doubted you, accuse you of things and still you are here protecting me i don’t care if you have secrets Clark you are the one good constant thing in my life and I don’t wanna lose you too -I’m not going anywhere Man this scene was so strong such good actors seriously you get attached with them like they really love each other
This is is my second most favorite Smallville scene, next to that episode with Whitney's father's funeral. That episode featured Eva CAssidy's Time After time. However, this scene is far more powerful, and Gary's rendition is very emotional.
This show is so deep. When I say this show is about Superman, people look at me like I'm a geek. I hate it that so many people have never seen this show, they would react differently if they would have :(
My ex girlfriend laughed at me for watching this show, I think it was around the 5th or 6th season when we got together & I was watching the show since the very 1st episode but then I got her to watch the whole 1st season with me and she got hooked, it was so satisfying to introduce someone to it
I love this scene with Clark & Lana. No matter what happens, they will always love each other. Not even Brainiac or anybody will be able to break their bond. It hurts, the person you care about and see them die. But love will always be eternal. Thanks for the clip.
Very sad scene. The music is what brings it to the next level. It creates such a somber atmosphere. TW & KK really play this scene well. Great scene to end a very good episode. :)
This episode made me discover this song, and at the time, I looked for a long time because it had upset me. Now this song is one of my favorites and I know it will reason the day I should leave this world.
Man, I want to find the part right before this, where Lex tells Helen he wants her help not to be his father. Because it's so sad, and beautiful, and depressing when you know that he's doomed to become the bad guy.
Adam Lambert on American Idol sang this ......great version. I immediately thought of Clark and Lana and this scene. So much emotion.....I love Clark and Lana!
wow, im honestly sorry for the people that grew up with this series....I discovered it like 4 days ago and I'm obsessed with it (I'm already on S3 E21, even tho I'm watching Smallville only like 3 days) I can't imagine how hard it would be for me to watch Smallville when it was on the TV and then one day wake up and find out that it's ending...
i remember the first time i watched this episode and when it got to this scene at the end...i obsessed over this song for weeks trying to find out who it was by and everything, and now it's one of my actual favourite songs
The song along with this scene was so sad. It makes me cry when i watch it just like the most recent ep, Veritas and the song One more day (by Vast). Thanks for posting this great clip!
Poor Whitney. Dead and gone.😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔 And Lana is heartbroken and distraught. This is where Clark hugs her for the second time at the end of this episode "Visage". He hugged her for the first time at the end of the previous episode "Skinwalker". This was really sad.
yup, I was sleeping and missed the episode but woke up at this part. i never heard this song before but i fell in love with it because of this scene. so sad, but the song is beautiful. i downloaded it right after, and prolly heard it a thousand times, haha
this moment is the most PERFECT moment of the world.......i tink i can say that ppl would do anything jst 2 have this moment. plus, da song makes it dramatic 2.
@PrimevalHunter300 What happend after is something no one could've had any controle over. But what she meant here, wasn't that she doesn't want to lose him as a lover, but as a person, meaning, ''to stay in contact forever'' together or not.
One of the best scene I've seen in my life....in my opinion Kristin is the most beautiful girl in the world ( I'm italian, I hope my grammar is correct ^^)
FOR ME. This is my favourite scene from this show. It´s my opinion. I don´t understand why you call me blind, but I don´t care. Anyway thanks for the response.
this song is amazing! i love gary jules. If any1 wants me to send them gary jules' mad world in MP3 format, message me. Thanks to Loveistheway for putting up this great moment!
Mad world is nicked from the best middle eight ever written, from the song Mathew and Son by Cat Stevens. I would have sued Tears for fears had I been Cat.
whats funny about this episode is that Lana says that she doesn't care about Clark secret and later on she says she cant have a relationship with him unless he opens up
I like both versions. I think this is a very nice re-interpretation. You got to give it a chance without the footage. It's a little slower and mellower.
i know this is a reply from 8 months ago but if you think is the best scene from Smallville then your blind, this show is about Clark Kent's journey and tests by his biological father to become Superman the final episode is the best moment when he realises what he truely is, is the best scene :)
Hahahahaha he thought the word "Visage" was referring to the singer/band (which actually can be misleading). And no, the show and song do not suck at all.
that is the best song EVER! honestly adam lambert ruined it! he mad it sound crappy its supposed to be a sad song that makes you think, not american idol trash.
...and from Donnie Darko (fantastic Movie)! This Ballad was composed by Michael Andrews and Gary Jules. Original from the 80ies by Tears for Fears. Sorry, but I don't like those Smallville-cheesecake-faces.
