She's right, sadly people who are that beautiful often get shortchanged. People become enamored and create a fantasy image of who that beautiful person is rather than getting to know who they really are.
The only thing wrong with that theory, at least as it pertains to this series, is they grew up together. So he knows exactly who she is regardless of how beautiful she became.
I always wanted them to get together, even though i know he ends up with Louis Lane. I just thought them growing up together and always being close might have gotten through to him.
Him and Lois never had this chemistry Lana was the love of his life. They looked so good together 2 of the most beautiful ppl I've ever seen on any show.
His chemistry with Lana vanished as soon as they actually got together, the idea of it was much better than the execution. It’s the opposite with Lois.

If you didn't feel their chemistry when they were together in the last 2 ep of S2 and in S5 & 7 then idk what you were watching 😂. I mean Tom and Kristin even won an award for best on screen chemistry and they're the only pairing from the show that won an award for their chemistry.

I HAVE SOMETHING COMPLETELY SEPARATE TO SAY INVOLVING A FEW IDEAS FOR (LANA LANG) Now I am thinking it might be rad to create a cartoon movie that involves the female character (Lana Lang) who is a superhero in another dimensional realm; The way I imagine it that Lana Lang is exposed to some unknown something that gives her superpowers, and yet there are a few of her powers that have side- affects to them when they are used. Those few certain types of powers sometimes become so very powerfully potent that they have very dangerous energy radiation to them, and one of them is mega harmful towards SuperMan it hurts him the way Green-Kryptonite does, and also to add when that happens (Lana Lang) would have to leave planet: Earth for a certain period of long time. To add (LANA LANG) also has a power that its side-affect to it when it gets temporary out of control when it develops to much amount of energy it becomes harmful towards (John Jones aka Martian the ManHunter). Plus to add the third superpower that has a side-affect to it when it gets temporarily out of control when it over flows with to much energy power it becomes very harmful towards the good alien being known as (Brainiac 5). You should know in this story idea of mine when (Lana Lang) gets her superpowers there is an extra ability added in her, and that ability is that her body’s aging process has slowed down to a crawl; An so she is still alive in the far future where the good alien being (Brainiac 5) exists in it, and to add she has had many love interests over the years, and also to add she has a new love interest in the far future. Plus to add most of the time (Lana Lang) & her new guy hang-out allot with (Brainiac 5) & his lady love interest, and to add Lana fights against evil on other planets as well too; Now you should know she has the ability to fly, along with the powerful ability to withstand being in outer-space, and the ability to be able to breathe under water.
I mean the fear was right later down the line Clark look at Lana realize she was seriously warp to the fact that she feel like the only way to be with him was to match his level but , attempting to be basically a god comes at price , and it cost their relationship. Clark had to move on atleast Lois stay didn’t let the life change her I a negative way
20+ yrs later and I'm still bummed they never had many good scenes together. One minute he proposes next thing she dies. I think at this point I think Clark's biological father was the real villain.
