An epic garden, thank you Mr Hawkins for sharing your phenomenal garden, it’s just beautiful. We visited last October, your staff could not have been kinder to me and my disabled husband, allowing us to see a large portion of the garden. Our visit was so enjoyable, topped off by the best hamburger I have ever eaten!
Went this year in July/August and was bitterly disappointed. Honestly thought there would be more blossoms to see as per the season being we were charged FULL price! Even though it is a well appointed garden, and one I’m sure would be magnificent in Autumn or Summer, hubby and I were sad that we walked through the garden in half hour and stared at heavily pruned plants with very little to no colour. I guess we’ve been spoilt after visiting Butchart Gardens in Canada 🍁 which blossoms all year round. I would suggest a half price entry and heads up for visitors in the off season of the garden, especially for visitors that travel from the other side of Australia. I must add the coffee shop served a delicious soup and coffee.
