I don’t think Florida, has any yarn shows, so I really enjoy your UK yarn tours. I made a bucket list, and visiting the uk is on the list, but it would be wonderful to see a yarn show while I’m visiting. I have watched your channel for a long time and you never disappoint thank you, for sharing your time,please, say hello to Dan and the girls as well.❤

Are you in FL? I recently moved here and I can’t find any yarn festivals! I’ve googled so much and nothing. I did find one called Orlando Distaff Day but it was the one weekend I was away! I’m pretty surprised!

Absolutely lovely speaking to you and Dan at the show. You have some lovely purchases and I picked up the same curated yarn co. skein of The Great buying it on the Aran base. There was so much to see that I didn't get to all the vendors either.

I had a little chuckle when I saw your amazing chicken bag as, all the way over here in West Australia I had made myself a project bag out of the mustard colour way of the same chicken pattern! I love your tours of yarn festivals, and I am always shocked by your restraint in not purchasing EVERYTHING you see! I am extremely excited -- I am coming to the Southern Wool Show in September. I came to the show on Saturday, i walked there as i actually live in Easton. Easton is the village where the Showground is situated. I bought a beautiful tote bag from lovely Alex Collins, 3 skeins of yarn and 4 pom poms from The crafty Bird. Sorry i missed you Ali, it's a lovely festival and all the more special for being on my doorstep x

What a fantastic way to spend Mother’s Day Ali. Such a lovely podcast and thanks for taking us with you. The next major wool show for me is the Bendigo Sheep & Wool Show (In Australia) in July. My friends and I catch the train which is a 3 hr trip each way but we get to knit/crochet on the train and have a great laugh 🧶

Absolutely loved the great job you did Ali on taking us with you to the yarn festival & showing us around. 😍. I thought you did an amazing job especially remembering everyone’s name 😇. I also loved the sweater that you wore on the first day & wasn’t sure if you knitted it or not 🤔. Also, I thought you were very good at restraining yourself from buying heaps of yarn, as it looked too good to resist, in my opinion! Another great vlog and tour of the show, I was there the Saturday. But when I watch vlogs back, I realise how much I still missed! I was very good this year. Brought a skien from blue fern yarns and a skien from pixie yarns..❤ her yarns, and of course as the crafty bird was opposite her I couldn't resist a pom pom to match. Its there waiting for me once I'm feeling more up to it, I had my surgery on Thursday and have definitely been feeling very sore, tired, and in a lot of pain since. Had 2 spend 2 nights in hospital, but home now resting in bed listening to my body so I can get back to crafting ASAP! There's a crochet version of the emotional support chicken I might have to make one to see me through the next few weeks. Look forward to your next vlog 😊 xx❤
