Dirt oven baking is a part of our traditional food culture in Trinidad & Tobago. Places like Castara in Tobago have always been known for dirt oven or clay oven baking but Dove's Dirt Oven Delights, located in La Brea village in Guayaguayare has become quite popular in recent times offering a wide range of local baked treats.
Choose from some of your local favorites like coconut bake, whole wheat and white bread, molasses loaf, coconut drops, sweet bread, pone, fruit cake and sponge cake.
For the Christmas season they will also be offering baked hams. Contact them via their facebook page for more details.

Just the way my mom use to make her bread it’s nice to know people like u all are back to the old school way of making bread.

Yummy.... The "back to basic" way of baking is much better than the Conventional way. If there's a gas shortage in the world, then that wouldn't affect you'll at all. The bread would taste better as well. I like the "bottomless" baking tins/pan. Great job.

OH my @eatahfood...only if I could get a bake delivered in the US...and like he said the taste is what makes the difference these is what we cannot loose because when I have kids, my niece and my nephew who has a son they need to know and about their family Trini heritage. Thank you so much for another great video. I'm definitely going to see if they will deliver in Maryland, USA

Its great so great I can't express I knew of it when I was young I hope your children pay heed and carry on this legacy this is a foundation for you and your third and fourth generation keep reminding these words think about about other food company who started at home and never give up remember in all things put God first (prayer ) with family and workers to start the day
