Visiting Loch Ness In Scotland | Beautiful Scenery, Urquhart Castle & Nessie!

I visited there a few years ago. It's gorgeous. This American loves Scotland!

I love in Scotland. We visited Lock Ness in 2015 and we went to Urquhart Castle. In the castle growns i asked my better half to marry me. She said yes 👍👍

Scotland and the Highlands are so special to me. Many of my childhood and teenage holidays were spent hiking through the highlands with my dad. I often go back and stay at a remote village called Dalwhinnie. If you enjoy mountain and loch walks then it's paradise.

For a great drive, you should try the A82 from Glasgow to Fort William. The best part is from Tarbet to Glencoe village, plenty of stopping places to admire the scenery & there is a wee pub in Inverarnan called The Drovers which has to be visited.

My wife and I were there about 10 years ago , when a Lancaster Bomber , a Hurricane and of course the Spitfire flew over the Loch , like the views it was breath taking its something I will never forget.

I loved the rainbow and the skull in the clouds over the loch PERFECT!

That place is beautiful.

I’ve been here! Nessie didn’t appear sadly! Amazing place. We did an amazing holiday here. It was Misty & drizzly when we went. I see the visitors centre was shut was it? Yes we went in Nessie land. It was fab. Shop was good. I bought some good stuff.

Thanks Shawn , we love this channel and all your enthusiasm and showing us places we may never be able to visit aswell as the beautiful places in the UK. Lets hope once travel is back to some normality you can again visit overseas. We were due to visit Australia in november but obviously we have had to put this back to 2021 we last visited 2018 and it would be a great place for you to have a great adventure so try and visit if you can whilst vlogging as you go!

Never visited Loch Ness, but one day, you never know, hopefully might get a chance at spotting the monster? But will see when & if visit in future? But interesting location, lovely castle up there and beautiful landscape. Lake is huge & massive, with it being as big as it is. You just never know if there is a big monster in there? Who actually knows? Find out truth eventually? But yeah another good vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to seeing more & new videos on this channel again in future. Look forward to seeing Loch Ness Museum on this channel one day? Opened and wonder what's inside? History & pictures and maybe videography of latest & recent evidence? Drum na drock it. Went that area a couple of years ago. Visited Nessieland and Urquhart. Stay with a local in a guest house. They gave me n my brother whiskey and told us all anout the area. Its unbelievably beautiful. There is a road around the loch that takes 2 hours to drive. About 6 times we just had to stop the car because the view was like nothing on earth. If you're reading this... Go.

So beautiful thanks for the wonderful tour! I wish you would have stopped and filmed in iverness where you can travel through the stones to a different time! But had you gone through the stones I don't know would we have lost Shawn to another time? 😆One thing saddens me. Like in most of the United States except some of the southern ones.Not wheelchair accessible.Fl.usa it's good about building long ramps right next to stairs so people in wheelchairs can enjoy also! Anyway great video!

Nessie is most likely a very large wells catfish, seal, or a large sea creature that can cross the salt/ fresh divide. The underwater caves that are believed to hold Nessie are more burial areas for warriors. Look that’s what Jeremy Wade believes and he’s one of the foremost aquatic animal specialists in the world plus the fact he has caught pretty much every top fish out there carries a lot of weight. Also be kinda careful with boating on the lake as the entire bottom has some of the radioactive ash from Chernobyl which somehow blew into the loch, and the water is basically like tea as you can’t see more than what a meter and a half in front of your face.
