bro is 21 and has had more life experience than most get in their entire lives. Your comfort level in these countries traveling alone is really impressive
@@FriendxA well it's subjective to whatever country, how long you're trying to go, what you do there, what your goal is, have you left behind a life or work or responsibilities honestly. for example if you wanna explore Bhutan mandatory 150-250 US$ a day and you're decided by the government where you can go in the provinces, but say you go to Vietnam and the cheap southern districts or up north to Hanoi or Da Nang it probably won't be more than 30-50$ a day.
I’m a Malayali , when I see your compassion towards Kerala it’s makes me so proud and happy .. you are a courageous man 🙌🏻…no words to say for your optimistic mind🤍… hope everything goes well and keep going🤗💜
I'm a Filipino from the Philippines, and I must say that this doctor is very professional, smart, kind, and well-trained based on his surgical experience. My mother worked as a nurse in Saudi Arabia and knew and met some Indian doctors who worked in a specialized hospital. I had a lot of respect for this doctor. I can imagine how difficult it must have been to study medicine in India. I will always be grateful to all Indian teachers who taught me basic mathematics when I was in elementary and primary school in Saudi Arabia, including those Indian tutorials on RU-vid. As a student, it's extremely beneficial, and they've had a significant impact on us Asians. Thank you for teaching us, and we wish you all the best. Although I do not have the opportunity to thank each of them individually, we Filipinos value the knowledge they share. ♥️
What a great advice to get your next surgery done by a competent doctor in Australia or at KIMS health. He really sees you as a son, so happy to see such a kind and competent doctor. Really makes us proud as an Indian❤️, thank you for showing us this real gems of India.
The doctor is really well informed and professional! Being a medico myself, I really liked how he presented all the options and spent his valuable time with you
People like Luke show how positive people can be in the world. He is someone who doesn't let anything stand in his way, even with the permanent injury suffered. Fantastic video and brilliant channel.
Its been almost 2 months my hand surgery was done by Dr Manoj. I had both Carpal tunnel syndrome and De Quervain’s syndrome. Always will be thankful to doctor for his care and treatment that I use my hand so comfortably after many years. I live in Canada and I can confidently tell and guarantee that Kerala has far superior and quality healthcare than Canada.
India has really talented doctors. It takes a lot of experience and courage to do what he did with his hand. He's done a fantastic job, to say the least.
The difference between Indian and Canadian health care system is the doctors. In india a doctor consult at least 60 to 65 patients a day where in Canada it is 10 to 12 max patients.Eventhough Indian docs see 60+ patients a day, they give good care and patients recieve it. In canada out of 10 patients only 4 are dianosed correctly and treated well...Indians doctors are skilled and experienced in every way. Coming from a person lived in India for 30+ years and 10+ years in canada.
@@marlyndacosta1044 this person isn’t exaggerating at all. A pediatrician near me sees around 800-1000 patients in his 8am to 8pm OPD. most of the govt health centre CMOs will see 200-250 patients in the OPD in around 4 hours. The quality of care is obviously compromised but we do the best we can.
I’ve watched your videos for years now and only recently I noticed your hand. The doctor did an excellent surgery, it’s hardly noticeable. Wish you the best man !
I am an Aussie and to see one of my own from my side of the world travelling India alone is awe inspiring I also live in Mumbai would like to have him stay with me just to bless him and show him more places with me being an Aussie too, I have an Indian wife so it has made life very easy to get around it helps having an Indian companion whom I share my life with we have had so many adventures in India since I have been here, keep travelling Luke your living your dream, I was so moved to see what happened to your hand bro especially in a land which is so far from home, I love your positive attitude to life you are a genuine positive man with a heart of gold be blessed my bro
Getting to spend this much time with the good doctor is amazing . In the US, you be lucky to get 10 minutes. He also seem like a compassionate and very knowledgeable doctor
Welcome to India.India receives significant number of medical tourists from Australia, Canada, China, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
@@swapnakoodu1528 but only applicable to some parts of india. A vast majority of india especially rural north india doesn't even have competent doctors there conditions are soo terrible
One of the greatest thing about Luke is that he never ever took all his pain on anyone , he could have but that's not Luke . Going from that to now he is still progressing every day ! Alsooo your vlogs make me feel I'm with you 🤌🏻😳❤️ great work
@@LukeDamant I feel sorry for that Luke. Dont know what happened to you but there is no one in my social circle who had this kind of accident. He is a kind person, more than a doctor. You should have given him a hug when he said you are like his son. Would have made him feel a lot warmer. You need to bring your mom to India since it is almost your second home. I will subscribe to you now just to do a bit ♥
what an amazing doctor ♥️ and the way he explained such complex things even a 5 year old can understand. Luke, what a brave man ♥️, u kept exploring, u kept spreading smile, despite urself being in constant pain, hope you a speedy recovery so that u can continue to inspire us🔥
Hope you decide to have the next surgery at KIMS . The doctor there is brilliant. Prayers and blessings for you Luke. 👍♥️🎊 Dr.. Manoj is so caring. He is a genius in my eyes.
@@sanayamitall2470 most of the well talented doctors are from Tamilnadu, you can ask any medical field people in Kerala. I'm living a mile away from Kerala and aware of both states. the best thing in Kerala doctors is, they prescribe only less drugs and the hospital cleanliness is next level.
Weirdly enough I was just rewatching all the videos about your hand when it first happened just last week. The doctor is absolutely remarkable and the way you have faced this situation head on is amazing Luke! 👏🏼❤️
Luke you're such a pure soul💎❤️. People get done with surgeries and never care to look back at the hospital or the doctor. You are visiting him even after 3 years! Keep spreading love mate!
Medical studies in India are so hard. Almost you have to study 24/7 day and night to get doctor degree...... My cousin is studing medicine..... Now I understand only passionate people can become doctors..... Doctors confidence is so good. You should really trust him and if you plan for further surgery go to him only...... He is actually treating you as a son and giving you the right advice....
He seems genuinely very well-informed ! I would almost recommend you to get it worked upon by him again...as he's already performed once on your hand. He knows the ins and outs of it. So considering this, it's the least amount of risk involved, something you want to look for in a surgery !
I just came across your channel today, and I am so sorry to hear about the firecracker incident, but great props to the doctor, he's done a huge job with it (referencing the pictures on your phone) but I'm glad you gotten out of this as you are now!! Anyhow, God bless the doctor, as even after 3.5years, he still cares enough to see things that can be corrected still!
He is so optimistic and confident in his approach,we can see it in his eyes, the way he speaks..cheers to all the hardwork dude😍👍 ❤️from kerala, malappuram
Thanks for comming back to kerala. Those days wont comeback but a small memory that u shared from kerala is priceless. U r the same person two years before. Respect for my brother luke. Noone can replace you from my heart 💕💕💕💕

I love the way that how the doctor took time to give you good advice also not just that he also talked about other things with you. Be safe Luke!! Visit Bangladesh when you can!
India produce most doctors and engineers in the word. You go any country .you will definitely meet Indian doctor and engineers. So happy to known you come and meet dr. Manoj . Good luck to you future and make intresting video.
This episode made me want to cry all the time, I really don't know why I was so moved! I also encourage you to go back and complete the final surgery, so that everything can return to the most ideal situation as much as possible! Wish you all the best, thanks a lot for sharing!👍😄🙏
You are soooo brave, Luke! Loosing a finger is not an easy thing but I can see so much positivity in you regardless. Thanks for being an inspiration! 😍
That was quite an ordeal you went through and that still did not deter you from coming back to India to continue doing what you do best! I have so much respect for you and I am so inspired by your optimism and gratefulness. Your hand looks amazing ,your doctor did a great job. Much love to you my friend 🥰
Bro with Manoj being the doctor of choice I would say yes go for it as an Aussie with years of experience with so many Indians good and bad and believe me I have come to know all sorts in my adventures Manoj is a genuine doctor and 50.000 rs to repair the index for it to be corrected is a good rate as compared to what others may charge you, he seems like a doctor who has never forgotten you, he seems to care about you and the fact he did not accept any money for your visit says volumes, looks like both yourself and this doctor have grown into long time friends the disaster you had faced brought you together for a reason, it changed both of you in a profound way, I could see there is a special bond, stay safe brother and keep on keeping on
What a polite and incredibly skilled doctor. Roughly ten thousand surgeries in ten years. People over here project the idea of Western medicine being 'Reactive' against the Eastern 'Preventative'. It goes to show the sentiment surrounding this boring view is flawed from the outset. It's just an ignorant sentiment for people to follow along with, especially in the face of these actual titans of experience in the field. Respect to this Doc and thanks Luke for the inside view.
haha that is such Indian thing to do. I am an Indian and moved to US few years back and broke my foot on a skate board. All my Indian friends were saying now you hate skate board and american friends were cheering for finally getting first fracture from skate board.
@@dvo66 i used to ride hills on my and only ever fell 2 times (harshly) luckily i was bruised and aching for days😂 Accidents happen everywhere and theyre definitely a journey
World need doctors like Dr Manoj. ❤ Apart from that you are a very humble, kind and respectful guy. You never miss an opportunity to thank him.❤ Recently I watched your one of the vlog when your were in Pakistan....Your were talking about foreign tourists which are not allowed in "Kashmir Pakistan"😔 without permit. I am from "Kashmir India" foreign tourists are allowed here. I would be glad (infact every kashmiri would be) if you could visit here and explore the culture and tradition of Kashmir. Like Pakistan, media is showing false things and hiding the reality of Kashmir...😔 Kashmir is know as "heaven on the earth" I guarantee, you will love beauty of kashmir and especially "KASHMIRI WAZWAN"- a multi-course meal🍱. NOTE:- If you visited here some day, 98%+ people are good but rest you know less than 2 persons out of 100 would try to scam you. And I know you have now learned, how to deal with scammers 😊. I hope that things are going good for you ❤
Such sweet doctor and patient interaction. Doctor sir really sweet and forthcoming with suggestions and help. God bless such a soul. He really gave his time for this guy .
Luke, I think you can consider opening online positivity courses. The way you carry yourself in a difficult situation and cope with imperfections is phenomenal.
This would def be like a life long friendship you'd have with this wonderful doctor. Super cool stuff and yes, you should do the final surgery he is talking about.
Hey Luke! It’s so amazing to see you have the courage to visit the hospital again! I have been through traumatic experiences in my life and no matter how strong one is, it does get emotional when you visit the place! I have been following your channel for past 15-18 months and your growth as an individual has been phenomenal which is due to your courage and positive outlook on life! You are always full of energy and zeal to discover new places which does not make us realize how taxing it can be to travel and so many issues you might be facing behind the scenes… I have seen most of your series Pakistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Sri Lanka and Kyrgyzstan! Love them all.. Wish you all the best for your future travels and hope to host you someday in my city in Gujarat! 😊
it may not have seemed like it at first but you’re so lucky luke. im so happy you’re ok that explosion could have taken more than just your hand. im glad you’re still with us.
I wish my doctor gave me as much advice and care as Dr Manoj did with you. He surely took his time and explained everything he could and needed to you.
As a medical student I can tell you this doctor is very good , you can get a long time visa and get your surgery done from here he did cost 10 or 20 Times listen in India then Australia , Indian doctors are very good as international standards you can do it from here.
