Probably your coffee was a 'flat white' which is the most popular ('normal') coffee order here - it is all milk. Try ordering an 'Americano' when you order your coffee - that's a double shot of espresso plus hot water to fill the cup. You can ask to have a bit of cold milk added as well if you prefer your coffee white, or single-shot if you like it weaker.

it a pity you didn't have a week or so there. So much to do and a lot of places to go around there. I used to go there every summer so know the place well. In winter is a ski town and last time i went skiing i broke my leg so i don't go any more. Hope next time i go i will go ski diving as it such a amazing area.

Me and my partner went to Queenstown in June this year, this is bringing back some awesome memories!

Nz coffee is better that drip filtered watery water stuff that Americans drink with the insult adding powdered white dust creamer added to it. Great video.. should done the shotover jetboat ride.

New Zealand, was charged 400 bucks at the airport after we forgot to declare a piece of lemon in our flask inside our luggage(who could have forgotten that!?) This is how they welcomed visitors at the border.

Yes, coffee in NZ and Aus is terrible! Foamed milk. And they act all snobby about it, like it's great.
