What an amazing part of the country. I love how knowledgeable your dad is Audrey about history of the various regions you travel to. Safe travels and take care.
The ande foothills part of Argentina is so underrated, pretty and colorful. Loved the food and wine. I wouldnt call it the untraveled but I would call it the less traveled then a lot of that country. I definitely recommend it also.
Dear Audrey and Sam. I came across your channel searching for food in some European cities. Unexpectedly I discovered a lot about South America, probably mostly due to Audrey's Argentinean roots :) I was there only once when I spent a few weeks in Bolivia and was enchanted by its landscape, culture and people. There were plans to discover more about this continent but Covid broke them down brutally. While I am watching your videos now, my broken leg is put in a cast and I have much reduced mobility. Your videos and especially the journey through South America is my biggest joy these days. Thank you so much for sharing and special thanks to Audrey's dad Daniel to make some part of the videos special. I am so intrigued by Argentina now. I hope to see more of your South American videos in the future.
I love to see the architecture of different countries and cities !! The restaurant experience looked amazing and that cake would send me into a coma haha !!
Hi Audrey, Daniel and Sam! We really enjoy watching each and every one of your videos! Daniel is teaching us so much history from Argentina and we love it! We are learning so much from your visit to the northern part of the country. Argentina is such a vast country that each region is different. That layered desert with meringue looked amazingly fresh and delicious! Please keep the videos coming, watching them is like being there with you. The food in Argentina is really good!
hi guy's , great show like allways ! stay healthy , greats to your dad's and families ! greatings from Amsterdam . its so cold now min 10 at nights , min 6 at days , wasn't that cold since 2010 , snow storms etc.
You're most welcome! I figure it's a nice way to drop some pins on Google Maps for a future visit. At least that's what I do when I watch other people's travel videos! 😊
Time flies. The video was 1 year ago. Hard to believe. Now with the pandemia we can't no go nowhere. But nice we have good memories. Trying to think positive, may be next year we can travel again, best money spend (??? Sorry my english is not perfect) Nice video. Thanks. Julia de Brampton
Great video! Salta, to me, reminded of colonial cities of Mexico, such as Merida, as well as historical area of downtown Lima. It is quite different from Buenos Aires, but so beautiful! I loved all historical and natural places, and the food 😋 Doña Salta has some delicious dishes! I like your videos a lot because I can have a glimpse of all the things that can be done in a place: cultural sightseeing, natural spots, and FOOD! (And drinking as well ). It seems that Sam was a bit over influenced by limoncello effects 😄
Hola Samuel, Daniel y Audrey !!
I visited this area a few years ago and I wish I had your videos to show me some of the off the beaten path sites. I love this area (literally wanted to spend way more time in Tilcara too), and hope to come back one day. Dona Salta had fantastic food, some of the best empanadas I've had in my life are there.
Genios. Siempre les dejo mi like.
Now I know what those knives are for! It may sound strange but when I bought mine in Bariloche I didn't know what it's purpose was 😂 (I have a knife collection where I collect knives from around the world and so I bought one in Argentina 🙃)!
Really enjoyed this video...My friends from BA lived in Salta for a couple of years and so we are planning to visit there too. CHEERS, rwally informative trip i cannot wait until we go visit 😊 💙🤍💙 Xoxo SabrinaFromLondon 🇬🇧
Hola Audrey, Daniel y Sam.
Hola Audrey, Daniel y Samuel!!! Saludos 🤗
Loved your face Audrey when your dad talked about a toenail in the wine. Still giggling. I really don't know much about the history in Argentina but I did watch Evita. (ok red faced )
Guys, I think the vino patero has had some effects on you. I might be wrong, but I think there is no Tijuana (bang, bang) in Salta. And for a moment you spoke all the way in spanish. No complaints there. Thank you for showing that beatiful city and the mountain landscapes. Regards to Diego de la Vega (Audrey's father with that great hat).
If you've driven a manual for over 20 years, you can't get rusty on it. It's like riding a bicycle. Enjoying the vid, specially the historical venue of Audrey's father.
We are looking at cities in Argentina as possible retirement cities. We have lived in 3 countries in Central America and will eventually slow travel South America. It is hard to narrow down cities in Argentina. So far our list to live in- BA Mendoza Mar del plata Salta Ushuaia Bariloche We prefer cool/cold temps and we speak Spanish. Great video !
Hi Sam and Audrey did you travel on the Nubes el train ? If yes what was your experience, where can we book it? If you didn't do it, any reason for that?
Ahh, we wanted to but the train wasn't running when we were there. They have a very limited schedule. I would check out the official website for the most up-to-date schedule and tickets: trenalasnubes.com.ar/inicio-en/
Okay guys, my family can't travel right now thanks to COVID and immune issues, so I really need a milanesa (spelling?) recipe so that we can try it out 😀. (They look gorgeous everywhere you've had them!) Do you have any recommendations?
🤗😊 Gracias!!! ❤
Not at all! She just doesn't like being on camera. Only my dad came on this last trip to Argentina, but my mom was on the previous one, just behind the scenes.😊
@@samuelandaudrey i completely understand i don't like to be on the camera also. Rather stay on the background. I adore your video's when you travel and make foodvideo's. And the video's with your dad are so adorable you can see you love eachother very much.
@@samuelandaudrey ¡Excelent video! ¡Everything was wonderful! There is a tv show in Gourmet channel where a spanish girl shows the food in every country of the world. When she arrives there's a local who suggest her the most significant places to visit. Maybe you coud use that idea in places like Salta. I live here and there are a lot of better restaurants and places to show. Maybe next time you could contact me and I would guide you with great pleasure. ¡Congrats and please keep doing these great videos!
