The studio set was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw your post about the earthquake. Looking forward to seeing it restored. You and the set designers put a lot of love into it.
I still hope that one day you and Chris will make Journey across Japan: The lost episode, where you re-record your episode, but without the bikes or Chris being sick.

It's so weird seeing that Chris's studio is just in an ordinary office space. It's so convincing that I really expected it was in a dingy back-street somewhere lol.

it never ceases to amaze me how great japan is at handling earthquakes and I am old enough to remember watching the Kobe earthquake on TV, Japan really works so much harder at public safety since then they put so many other countries to shame.
Emma it was nice that you posted this video when you did. It was good to see Chris's studio being enjoyed in its former glory. I saw loads of details that I had never spotted previosly in his vids. Fingers crossed Chris can get the studio back up and running soon. Xx
Chris’ sad Manekineko was heartbreaking! Hope Chris can kintsugi it! Wow your earthquake footage would have been hilarious if they’d used it on NBC news like Only in Japan *GO’s footage! So great to see your footage of Sendai before the quake! Happy to hear you’re safe too in Tokyo!! It was a pretty big shake lucky we’re on the second floor so not super high up! I'm more worried about what sort of repairs that's gonna involve. If a line is broken in between floors or something, that's gonna involve the ceiling needing to be torn out to fix it, then torn out more to replace the water damaged gypsum board.
It’s really unfortunate what happened to his studio, but I’m so glad that he and everyone was safe during the earthquake! He built such an incredible studio, and while the changes to the studio after the earthquake might not be the same, I’m excited to see any new additions to it as he rebuilds! ✨

Loved the eye makeup! I was amazed how long the quake was. At first I thought, hmmm, reenactment? Then, realized no, this is it. You are resilient! I was crying when I saw it pop up on John Daub's video and while watching updates on NHK. Earthquakes are my biggest fear! (Texted my son in Osaka right after,he had no idea it happened). Cats are good judges of people! Stay safe!

That looked like a fun trip, and so nice to see Pete again. And it's really sad to see what happened to Chris's studio, but I have full confidence that he'll swiftly have rebuild it. Maybe a good time for him to make a video on Kintsugi using the Manekineko.

As an elderly sub with no children, seeing you so frightened when the earth was shaking actually made me cry. I am so sad that you were made fearful and so grateful that you were unharmed. Honestly I am not the hugest fan of Chris but that too is something that I hate to see since he has been so creative and enterprising to get that fabulous studio together. What a good thing Natsuke and Sharla were there to support him upon the horrible discovery.
