Last week, we went to the town of Westerham in Kent, south of London to visit Chartwell, a country house once home to Sir Winston Churchill.
The beautiful building and gardens are owned and maintained by the National Trust. Most of the interior, including the furniture, paintings (many of them painted by Winston Churchull himself) and decorations are the originals, you are literally transported back in time!
