The Teutonic Order castle in Malbork is actually the LARGEST (in terms of the area it takes) castle in the WORLD. I did not know this at the time of recording this video - otherwise I would have said it when introducing the episode instead of just saying "most significant in Poland" haha.

Kochani, nie śpię. Teraz w Polsce jest godzina 1.05 noc. Małżonka śpi obok, a ja zachwycam się Polską widzianą waszymi oczyma. Jesteście kapitalni, wielkie dzięki. Nam Polska spowszedniała, nie doceniamy jej piękna, dopiero obcokrajowcy nam ją odkrywają.

Pięknie pokazany zamek w Malborku, a to zaledwie fragment tego arcydzieła średniowiecznej architektury. Koniecznie trzeba tam wrócić i podziwiać rownież Komnaty zamkowe i dziedzińce nie wszystkie dostępne w czasie naszej wizyty tego dnia. Brawo za ujęcia i dźwięk.👏😊

Knocked it right out of the park with this one guys!!!! Definitely touring that place when we visit Poland one day!! It's always been on my list because I lived in polish town Toronto for several years (a place which you MUST visit!!! Our open invite is still wide open by the way 😀) and the food, delis, restaurants, people, quirky little shops oh it was so so good. Scott and I often return to this on restaurant called Chopin and there are two seats in the front like ridiculous royal chairs they are huge. We feast like kings in these chairs 😂 so awesome. That chapel!!!!! 😍

Wikipedia entry: "In 1945 during World War II combat in the area, more than half the castle was destroyed." From the pictures we saw it looked pretty miserable, too. Soo... a matter of semantics. Heavily damaged/destroyed - the fact is it was in ruin and needed rebuilding so we didn't really get it wrong haha ;) Thanks so much for stopping by and your comment!

We can say that old town and King’s castle in Warsaw was completely destroyed and rebuil from scratch ..from zero . Germans decide to defend in castle and soviet artilery and air force had no mercy ...but still castle had luck because 50 percent survived.

Marienburg is the name given to this castle by the German Teutonic Knights who built this castle and the city of Marienburg in 1274.

But it was bought by Polish king. Teutonic Knights hired mercenaries but run out of money and these men acknowledged that deal was broken and they had right to sell the castle. It went for 660 kg of gold. The other problem is why Knights were short of money. Polish army devastated Teutonic knight`s lands to prevent them of any income. It was a war of exhaustion. 50 years earlier Polish/Lithuania won big battle of Grunwald besieged the castle but had no power to size it.

Myślałam ze Bonnie pobożna taka a ona do fotografii haha. Piękne miejsce nigdy nie byłam w MALBORKU SUPER. Piękne blog zrobiony. Zawsze się was miło ogląda. Chociaż brakuje mi od was Daily bloga gdzie masz kamerę w twarzy codziennie i tak naprawdę nie musisz zbyt dużo edytować pokazujesz jak żyjecie super para i fotografarzy

tylko że to nasze życie codzienne musi być na tyle ciekawe, żeby przyciągało dość uwagi - vlog musi zacząć na siebie zarabiać. 100 views per episode is not going to cut it! Studiowaliśmy ten cały proces przez długi czas - jeśli mielibyśmy nieograniczone fundusze to można sobie vlogować o tym, owym i o niczym. Na razie jednak trzeba się skupić na konkretnych tematach. Jak cała operacja zacznie na siebie zarabiać to wtedy będziemy jak Gonciarz - codziennie nowa przygoda ;)

The Malbork Castle was for many years in Polish hands. It is best seen in the main chapel of the castle where many altars [and there are some] were founded by prominent Polish magnate families when they administered it as the polish King`s representative.

Cześć Wojtek! ;-) Świat teraz jest jeszcze mniejszy niż był kiedyś. Czy nie uważasz, że w ciekawych czasach żyjemy i jeśli się w porę nie ocykniemy, to skończymy jak Prusowie? Kiedyś budowało się zamki, teraz laboratoria z nowiczokiem, zamiast armii wystarczą zarazki kitajskiej dżumy, a religię zastąpują ideologie gender, LGBT lub ekoterror.

This is Marienburg in West Prussia which was built by the German Teutonic Knights in 1274.

It was northern Poland. Teutons were invited by Poles and then crushed after they turned out to be barbarians, not real Christians with a mission. Later the German-speaking population was invited by Polish lords to settle and they were citizens of the Commonwealth. But Gdańsk Pomerania has been in Poland (with breaks) since the beginning of the state (966). West Prussia has been called the Royal Prussia because it was directly a property of the Crown. East Prussia with capital in Królewiec (Konigsberg) has been Ducal Prussia because it was the property of the Duchy of Prussia (Polish fief).

This Order was expelled before from Hungary. They started new state in Poland Alas after 300 years after they started state they started war against Polish Kingdom who was superior and owner their state. . They got what deserved later. Shame
