I visited the largest and most comprehensive horological collection in North America. This museum houses some of the rarest and most fascinating watches and clocks still in existence. For a watch enthusiast or a lover of history; it is well worth a trip to Columbia PA where the Museum is located.
Thank you to Rory and El, for allowing me to film my experience in the research center and the museum. I was a lovely time.

Hey Bruce, thanks for this nice overview. I live a little over an hour NW of this place and have always had a hankering to visit but never got around to it😟 But seeing some of what they house has reignited the urgency to get down there. Thanks again!

Great idea filming this Bruce. I went several years ago when Mr. Murphy himself gave a guided tour. It was highly informative. He talked about restoring the Patek minute repeater (I believe) pocket watch on display which may be one of a kind. This is truly a gem out in Amish country.

Thanks for sharing this. As a fellow clock collector and member of the NAWCC for 27 years living in South Australia, it was great to see some recent footage of the museum collection. I only found your video after you were briefly mentioned in the NAWCC's latest edition of the Mart. I hope to visit there sometime in the future once things settle down. In the meantime your video will suffice. Cheers, Steve

Only a 45 min drive from the museum. We also love doing the ghost tours at night....

I was wondering if you'd make it there. I was there a few yrs ago and it's really a great place to visit. Another place not to far away is RGM but not sure if you can do tours. May have to call ahead. Great video as always.

There’s only one criticism I have for this video and your other videos in Pennsylvania. The pronunciation of Lancaster is going to rile up the locals! I’m sure there’s a RU-vid video on the correct pronunciation but the emphasis is on different syllables. Keep up the great work, really enjoyed seeing the museum.

I was taught by a native 😬 I probably butcher it but I understand it's supposed to be said more like lyn-kester and not lAn-caster
