Before participating in the World's Greatest Hobby on Tour in Chantilly, we visited the Northern Virginia Model Railroaders in Vienna, Virginia for a meet and greet event with the club members. We shared our company story from the early days of the founding to some of the trials and tribulations we've faced over the years (like "Tanknado" in 2016). We also shared an early screening of "How Model Trains Are Made" - a video that covers the manufacturing process of our locomotives and freight cars from the day a new product is announced to the day it is delivered to your doorstep.
Headquartered in the historic train depot in downtown Vienna, Virginia. The Northern Virginia Model Railroaders' club is over 65 years old and has been at this location for more than thirty years. With a membership of over ninety men and women, the club built and maintains a large and permanent model railroad layout (HO scale) and opens its doors twelve Vienna Depottimes each year to the public. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting this amazing model railroad club and hope to return again someday.
