Little note about “The Metaverse”: I don’t actually like (or respect) Metaverse as a term, as it’s: A: Very unclear what it actually covers. Web3, blockchain, virtual spaces, interconnectivity, blending of real life with virtual life and so on B: Presented as something new and novel but the basis of it is an emphasis on using virtual spaces for socializing. This is concept that dates back to World of Warcraft and Second Life and is not a new concept at all I still decided to use the term in this video to highlight that advertising companies are getting into the business of designing virtual spaces (and giving virtual spaces a ridiculous buzzword while doing so. Classic advertising)
This video is so detailed... yet so less views. Though it's understandable. It's a niche subject. I wouldn't have landed here if I wasn't researching how to incorporate architecture, philosophy and world building from games
you're reaching and using hyperbole, pandering to sensationalism in your narrative you pretty much invented and in no way directly represented in anything.. get over yourself. It represents art and style/design of the time, especially in marketing...but the game is not trying to make a great point of clearly educate on on anything regarding marketing. Just like classic Rockstar games since GTA3 and before of course there is dark humor and parody and satire, especially in the media, but get over yourself this is a stretch as being important in game
