Do you struggle with fatigue, dizziness, sleep trouble, memory loss or low immune function?
Vitamin B12 injections have become increasingly popular to help patients overcome deficiency that causes these symptoms
By injecting the vitamin, you are able to ensure proper absorption, which may not be the case with oral supplements or naturally occurring B12. Injections can also help you overcome deficiency created by some prescription medication
Dr Mandy has tons of experience using B12 for her patients (and herself). Check out her video for more information and give the clinic a call if you have any questions or would like to book a consultation

I give myself a shot once a month and have severe leg cramping days just before it’s time for another B12 shot. The shots do not hurt at all. It runs in the family. Pain and Stress eats up Seratonin and B12 in my own opinion. This Doctor nails the symptoms!

Where do you get the B12? Does your doctor give you a prescription and where do you inject it? I just had a B12 shot and I feel so much better! If I could give myself the shot it would save me a doctor visit and money!

You might need more than one shot a month to start off with if you’re having symptoms, I’ve usually seen the protocol being 2 to 3 per week or even every other day to start off with (this is if you’re experiencing neurological symptoms). Might be something to look into!

Most GP/ PC Drs do NOT carry shots anymore! Goto a health clinic such as a weight loss or get into a cancer blood doctor’s care. They have them in the infusion centers. ( b-12 shots) I ordered mine online at a pharmacy on line with doctors. They prescribed it. They cost about $125 for 4 weeks of treatment at .05ml a week.

So I've been on a vegan diet for 3 years now without any issues just by taking regular B12 supplements. But in the past couple of months I've been experiencing this tingling, static sensation that you feel when, for example, when your arm falls asleep, but all over my body. Literally everywhere, in my back, my scalp, my tongue, in the inside of my ears... Last sunday I experimented a bit and took 5 times the amount of B12 supplements that I usually take in one day and it's gotten a bit better, but now it's back to being really bad again, no matter how much B12 I take. Maybe it isn't a B12 deficiency, but then I have no idea what it could be, because nothing in my diet changed. I have a doctors appointment about my blood test results today, so I guess I'll see.

I'm in the UK and on B12 3 monthly injections but 4 weeks before my next one is due I feel weak with many of the originol symptons recurring, can I take B12 lozenges that go under the tongue as well as the injections or would I be better just switching to tablets so I don't feel good for a couple of months then off colour in the weeks leading up to my next dose, maybe pills would manage the symptons better, I dont want to flood my body with too much B12 as that will have side effects too, I'm also on iron and vit D, any advice from those knowledgeable in the subject,

I have pernicious anemia and get B12 injections. I had gone to GP and she said I’m in normal range after two years of getting injections. Initially I had zero B12 in my system. I can’t absorb it through food. Went to cardiologist and he said yes your numbers are in normal range but on the lowest end of it as was vitamin D. That is a problem with most doctors. Normal range particularly lowest end isn’t good enough but they tell you you’re okay. I now continue the injections but also use oral B12 drops under the tongue. High dose of D also. Cardiologist saved my life. As it is I have nerve damage from lacking it for years. No reversing nerve damage.

After 2 doses of Methylcobalamin B12 injections (2 weeks apart), my B12 level went from low-medium (320 pmol/L) to absolutely way to high (1132 pmol/L) normal range is 200-600 pml/L in Canada. I suspect my Naturopath simply injected me with way too much on my last visit. The blood test reading was 8 days after my 2nd injection. Question: How long will it take for my body to get back to a normal B12 range. Praying this hasn't damaged me permanently, other than give me horrendous anxiety and total insomnia which seems to be improving now (slept 5 hrs straight for the first time in 10 days).
@Sorchae
@Sorchae Год назад
Look into it online, the fact that the level of b12 in your blood is high doesn’t mean your body’s actually able to absorb it. That’s why they inject it into the muscle and your blood levels are gonna be very high, that’s normal. See if you can find a b12 clinic near you or someone to treat/advise you. As far as I know if you’re experiencing these kinds of symptoms you need at least one or two injections per week. I’m currently on every other day as I was having a lot of neurological issues. This is something most GP’s aren’t aware of and so you usually can’t really trust their advice on it.

@Sorchae
@Sorchae 9 месяцев назад
@@jimdoukis7496 apparently that’s a normal thing that a lot of people experience, where the symptoms get a bit worse at first as the body heals. It might also have to do with the fact that you didn’t take any injections after that for 3 weeks but that totally depends what your body needs and what the cause is of your deficiency. Was it that you were just not ingesting any b12, or were you ingesting it but your body wasn’t able to absorb it properly? In the second case I would strongly advise against quitting the b12 injections as this can do more harm to your body than possibly taking “too much”. I have gotten most useful info from Facebook groups, I would check those out and try to figure out what caused your deficiency. Hope that helps!
