Hey! How long before your peripheral neuropathy started to improve ?? I am 4 months into vitamin D supplement and I have little nerve pain that is really making my anxiety shoot high.
Hi im 21 yrs old and my d levels were at 13. I've been experiencing depression, panic attacks, feelings of hopelessness, low energy, and head pressure. I'm taking 5000units/day and im already feeling better (day 3). Its crazy how something so simple can be the cause of so much pain and suffering.
I’m a registered nurse and all your symptoms were mine plus such severe back pain I thought I was dying. I got Flu A and continued getting sick through a 4 month span. I was so depressed. I finally talked to my PCP and got my labs drawn my lab value was 17. I’m also taking supplement replacement. Low levels of vit d are associated with so many problems: hypertension, stroke, weight gain, poor wound healing, dementia and even schizophrenia. I’m glad you put out this video to bring attention to a wide range of audience.
do you take k2 and magnesium along with it ? i keep hearing you have to in order to prevent calcification of the arteries or something like that. i take 50,000 once a week of d2
In the past ive been prescribed Vit D2 1.25 50000 1x per week and never really took it as prescribed. I suffered from Hypothyroidism, PMDD snd And Peri-menopause!!! I reached over and found my bottle of Vitamim D2 and took it with a meal and My Mood Lifted! I Have Energy! I Feel like going on🙏 God Bless You For Sharing Your Testimony!!! GOD IS GOOD! Idk how else i would have came across your Video Except God Leading Me Bc I Was Watching My Daily Preaching and Listening to the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ and Came Across Your Video. I Give GOD all the Glory🙌🙌🙌🙌
Like you, I finally took my first 50,000 in pill after seeing this video. I had the pills but didn't take them. My biggest symptoms are weakness in my thighs and occasional dizziness.I'm determined to finish the 12 week supplement.
I take 1000 ius in the morning and 1000 ius in the evening. The key is taking it everyday at the same time. I tried 3000 but it made me sleepy. Vitamin D changed my life. I think most ailments are from a defeciency in some vitamin or mineral. Alot of people are deficient in Iodine too. Great video.
Man I can't thank you enough for these videos I spent three years back n forth to doctors with zero luck You was 100% right After watching your video I ask to have my Vitamin D checked and BOOM It was super super low That was the problem ...Thank you so much
Suffered from bone pain for years.. diagnosed with arthiris ,the lot.. the weakness in my arms meant I couldn't drive or do household cleaning, Even washing my hair made my arms worse to where I had to just sit resting my arms most of the time . When i found your video on vit d, everything you said was happening to me.. depression low mood etc , doc even put me on hormone patches and said it was menopause ... nothing changed.... guess what low vitamin d was found in bloods and wow !!!!!! One week in and I have cleaned the whole house, I'm cooking and driving and carrying shopping ... I am amazed, thought my life was over. Thought my body was diseased .. I never knew .I really never knew .... thankyou for putting ur experience in the public domain ... thank you thank you ... over and over again... I was 30 when this began and felt 75...... im 50 now and felt 95 until I found you .... wow !!! I woke every morning this week in astonishment with the difference in my bones . My partner can't believe my positivity s I've become miserable and horrible over the years ... wow !! Vitamin d .... who would of believed it 😊😊😊😊
For about a year now I've been experiencing bone pain, muscle weakness, severe depression, diagnosed with osteoarthritis, broke my hand, lost my job, secluded myself because I started to walk funny, couldn't stand or walk for more then 10 min. Was sure I had a terminal disease. I've been taking vitamin d3, calcium, and b12 complex for 2 weeks. The walking has improved a little. The bone pain has eased up a little. Fingers crossed that I continue my upward trajectory. I still have to go to am endo for the Graves that I've had but at least now I can have a conversation with breaking down. The drs only wanted to do brain scan amd depression meds which I refused. Ms and als don't present the way I'm describing. This is a simple replacement fix and for drs to not deduct with what your body could be deficient of first. Be your own advocate!: keep a journal to show your dr. They need and should be active in their own education!
Geez! Thank you for your videos! Ive been dealing with muscles pain, bone pain, head pain, such severe fatigue I can't walk to the bathroom without resting, vertigo, lower back pain, heart flutters, anxiety, panic attacks, etc! Ive been going to the doctors for years now and nobody can tell me whats wrong. I looked up my last blood test a few months ago and my vitamin d is 18. Just started vit d 5000 icu and iron and am hopeful i will feel bwtter soon. Thank you for sharing!
Dude you may have solved my health issues I’ve had for almost a year. Panic attacks, constant dizziness. It’s been horrible. My D level was 20 over a year ago after the first panic attack sent me to the ER. I happened to see a doctor for other reasons who just happened to put me on a supplement but didn’t link it to the ER visit. I took that round of D supplement then stopped around feb ‘23. In May I had bouts of lightheadedness that came and went until July when it was constant. Mid July I had another panic attack. BP was 300/130. I’ve had a stress test, echocardiogram, head MRI, CT scans. I’m on BP meds, beta blockers, anxiety meds. I have zero energy most days. It’s been a horrible ride. I’m starting K2/D3 and will get in the sun. I hope you’re right.
Beards and Cars, Important information! 15 years ago I was exactly in the shape you described. I had my D checked and it was at 18. Mr Dr. gave me the mega dose as well and then prescribed a smaller maintenance dose. It took a year to get levels in the 50's. I did the same as you, after feeling much better I stopped taking it. Recently I started having all kinds of problems again. I have gotten to the point I do not go outside for days, have brain fog and just generally feel like crap. I am now 70 years old so I just blamed it on age. I had my yearly Dr. check that is required by Social Security and my Dr. said he was going to include the vitimin D test in my annual blood work. My D level is 23. I have been feeling like you said you felt that my life was over. I really did not want to live any more thinking that my age was all the problem. Take my advice and continue a daily dose from now on. Don't make the mistake I made thinking once it was under control everything would be fine because this is a problem that will slowly slip up on you and it takes a long time to turn it around. Good luck and thanks for the good video.
You need plenty of Magnesium to help the body use the D. Some people have issues with D activation. They may have plenty of storage D in their body but it’s not getting into their cells. Some people need much higher doses in order to just about get enough for all the many functions it’s needed for. It’s not about how much you get, it’s about how much your body can use at cellular level. The serum test only shows the inactive storage amount, not the active useable amount. You may find Dr. Judson Somerville’s book ‘The Optimal Dose’ helpful.
I was backsliding for a third time. Palpitations, anxiety, brain fog, etc.. Was taking a multivitamin with 1000iu thinking i was getting enough. Nope. Not good enough for me during winter anyway. Moving to 5000iu/day for me. Glad somebody's spreading the word.
@@BeardsandCars Thanks. Just like your situation - it didn't get to progress so far this time because I'm very aware of the problem. Just have to stay on top of that supplementation because I can't let this happen every year. haha
Your first video helped me tons with keeping my self calm when feeling a panic attack coming on. My vitamin D level was at 12 and felt so ill. Just took my 5th weekly dose and it is a slow process but I can feel my body improving week by week.
Did you feel bone pain? Mine is at 9, I just started taking d3 3k plus omega 3 plus k2. It’s been a week, I feel I am much better but still I have bone pain and shortness of breath
Dam dude just from hearing you talk and seeing your demeanor you look and sound decades younger from the original vitamin D video, glad you were able regain your health!
Brother I had times where the pain was so bad I felt like someone stabbed me. I have stayed on the 50k IU pills twice a month for years now. I had all your symptoms, panic attacks, pain, brain fog, fatigue… your videos are going to help a lot of people. Keep up the good work
Hey brother been having the same problem & it's helped me so much. Realized you haven't made any videos in a long time. Hope all is well brother, & hope everything has improved & May God Bless you & Yours! 🦋💛🤞
Oh my God thank you so much I just ran across your RU-vid video I fell and hit my head February of 2023 and now we are March 2024 I've been experiencing severe vertigo they told me I have bppv on top of that I've been getting panic attacks feeling like my world is closing in on me I thought if this is the way my life is going to be dear Lord please take me I can't continue living my life like this everybody's telling me that I mean I've gotten angry I'm Moody you have given me hope God bless you thank you so much for sharing this video prayers that you continue your health please keep us updated with your RU-vid videos I will continue watching as well
This is reassuring. I'm 41 and live in the South of Spain where there is a lot of sun. I've been vegan for about 5 years. Thus I need to take B12. I got my bloodwork done recently and saw that my level of Vitamin D was 12. I'd had dizzy spells (which worried me), vertigo, a twitching eyelid, brain fog, and aching body (especially in the morning). I even changed my mattress thinking it would solve the issue. According to the GP doctor, a large percentage of people are deficient especially further away from the equator regardless of being veggie, vegan, or not. In any case, I know that I need to supplement. I'm taking 2 tablets of 4000IU, plus a vitamin dissolvable in water which is 1000IU, and a spray which is also IU. That plus a well-balanced diet of leafy greens, mushrooms, etc, and rest and I should be fine again soon within a few months.
Awesome just found your channel researching vertigo i pretty much have the same symptoms as u and im goona do exactly what you did cause its terrible. its pretty cool i found your channel after 2 years that u posted it just to let u know its still helping people.tks brother ill update after i see doc .
Set up a visit with my doc because I've been feeling like I had one foot in the grave and was starting to think laying down might not be such a bad thing. Doc does blood work and comes in and says "I actually wish more of my patients had labs as good as yours. You have the numbers of a 20 year old athlete." and for me being nearly 40, that was nice to hear. But I asked him if all of that is so god why do I feel like I'm dying all the time? He flipped through the labs and goes "Oh, theres your problem. Your vitamin D is so low our machines literally can't detect it at all. We'll get you some injections to nudge that up quick and then some supplements to get it back where it belongs over time." I cannot tell you how much better I feel. Physically and mentally I feel like an entirely new person after about 6 months of corrective supplementation. It blows my mind that I could be physically way more healthy than I have any right to be and feel like 20 pounds of ass in a 10 pound bag just because one vitamin is out of whack.
I’m 51 my level 4 weeks ago was at 11 I was having the same exact symptoms as you … especially the walking to the fridge! My legs felt as if they was breaking they hurt so bad! I was put on 50,000 IOU’s once a week, week 4 my leg pains are about gone, mind feels clearer and my head also hurt on one spot in the back/ it’s also gone! Was also put on B12 because I was a little low on it! So I’m well on my way to healing! My symptoms had been going on for years before this and I thought I was dying as well! Thank god I had my vitamins tested!
Thank You man !! for your effort to make that video even in ur absolute worst time. It is helping a lot people. I saw your 1st video and suggested it to one of my friend's brother who was suffering from anxiety for more than 2 years. And got all medications done with no relief. Upon my suggestion he got vit D checked and found at 9. Now his same doctor who never suspected this, put him on 50k dose weekly for 6 weeks. And a month later he left all his medication of anxiety and became 80% cured. Now starts my story ...although I suggested him but never took it seriously for myself, as I also had some symptoms like 1. Fatigue. 2. Left side weakness from leg to hand. 3. Light headness. 4. Lack of focus. 5. Mood swings. 6. General weakness Although none of my symptoms were as bad as it could stop me from working 10 hours daily on screen. Until I recently went to the doctor proactively and found my levels at 10. My doctor put me on 60k dose. Its 4th week. And I started feeling difference from 1 dose itself. Lot of improvement. However my hi-doses are making trouble sleeping and also makes me super thirsty even if I had lot of water already. I consulted the doctor for these side effects he told these are normal side effects no need to worry it will improve over time. Wishing you all guys for your improvement 😊 Reading all the comments feels so relatable and supportive..I suggest you create a WhatsApp or fb group for emotional support if anyone requires.
I understand if you take quite high levels of Vit D, you should also take some K2 otherwise calcium may be deposited in arteries etc rather than bones.
Your video literally saved my life! I’m forever grateful to you for having the courage to share your story! I’ve shared it with everyone I know. Thank you brother! 🙏🙏🙏
I started falling apart in late December and thought I was just getting old and maybe pushing myself too hard in the gym... Brain fog, joint pain and anxiety kept in over January and February but I kept at it until eventually I passed out on the stair master That was my reckoning and I decided to go to the doctor. My vitamin D level was 16 and my Testosterone was 8.4, my doctor was surprised to hear I walked to his practice but I had to tell him I sat on just about every bench I saw and was still dizzy. It's been about two months since I started taking 5000iu of Vitamin D3 and this morning I went for a follow up blood test. I already feel much better and managed a 6 mile walk yesterday!! The only thing holding me back is getting my vitamin D from the weather. Here in Wales we only see the sun for 5-6 weeks, rest of the time it's raining. I think I'll take this for the rest of my life but I take a lot of supplements for my lifestyle so it's just something I'll add to my stack Thank you for posting these videos, It's now that I'm able to reflect I feel maybe I was being a bit dramatic - but no. It was like dying in slow mo and it took everything from me, I wouldn't wish it on anyone and it's so dangerous! Your videos made me feel like I wasn't fighting alone, we are all in this together and through awareness we can all deal with it a little better a day at a time
Damn, I just seen this video. I found out my vitamin D was 20 so they gave me 50k units. Once a week but I take vitamin D two every night before bed 5000 units. But in the morning I also take a multivitamin I did not think something so little could cause such a big problem which now after 2 1/2 weeks of taken these vitamins I feel way better I don’t feel nauseous dizzy, but I also don’t feel like something missing in my stomach, what I suggest is that since it’s something like that, so I suggest everybody go get every single level of vitamins checked in their system and to take a multivitamin every single day. One thing is that I look at every single ingredients to see if it has vitamins or what kind of vitamins, which is weird now. Also, I will say is that I’ve been dealing with a lot of stress lately and insomnia ever since I’ve been starting the vitamin D, I noticed that I feel more tired but I also feel way calm and my anxiety has dropped a lot.
Back in February I was super tired and starting having depression out of no where and werid brain issues which I know now is depression and derealization and more. I also have had anxiety for about 4 years now. I have been supplementing since March. I felt good for a week or 2 mood wise. I still have ups and downs. My worst symptoms was the brain fog, fatigue, nausea and the brain issues and depression, crying and mood swings. I feel a little better but I still have my bad days. I am able to leave the house but still not that get up and go and want to yet. I hope one day it's all normal again and I'm back to being who I was all those Months ago.
what was your levels? sounds like we both have a similar start time of symptoms including the anxiety for 4 years and i started supplementing in march as well. either way i think well get better just the amount of time it takes is absurd v.v,,, side questoin, are you still taking meds for your anxiety ?
@@veirosvallas3531 no im not on meds for my anxiety. I have some symptoms that have gone away but my anxiety has now turned into where I can't leave the house anymore and I feel sad so I'm thinking about going on antidepressents. It's hard I just this journey I have never felt this way before. It sucks
@@danikacortez691 i also stopped going out a few months ago at all, and jsut a week ago started zoloft an anti depressant to see if it helps with some of my issues or not ive had all sort of tests done just short of a mri scan, i figured id try anti depressents before doin that stuff. since its only been a week tho for me trying this i dont have any results yet. im so sick and tired of this non stop brain fog and dizzyness... if you look around tho online or youtube youll be shocked to find out what sort of symptoms anxiety and depression can cuase, as i said before i had anxiety before all this and the symptoms i had back then are nothing like the ones i have now.. here hoping anti depressents help x.x! and gl to you to keep your chin up well make it throught this remember someday we will return to our normal selfs
How are you feeling now? I have similar problems for the past 3 years, just recently started to supplement with Vitamin D3. Also have you checked your Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid (Vitamin B9)? Because in most cases Vitamin D3 also leads to a deficiency in those and they can cause a wreck in the body, both physical and mental wise.
I dont know if youve mentioned this but if you're taking Vit D take a good magnesium supplement with it as Vit D will use up your magnesium reserves. Also take Vit D in the morning if youre getting insomia. Hope this helps
I have been taking 4,000 IUs every day, some days 20,000 IUs and have been doing this for a month now. My vision has been restored and am full of energy as well. I can't believe that doctors have never told me about this stuff. It is a miracle.
@@shubham_sangeeta_rathore No. Did not have any floating vision but a bit of focus issues, that is gone now though. The Vitamin D3 seems to have made it go away. I also take cod liver oil in the Melrose brand, which is rich in vitamin D and A. Maybe that has helped me too.
@@shubham_sangeeta_rathore I don't know whether the type of vitamin D brand makes a difference but in the capsule form I take the Ostelin brand Vitamin D3 1000IU and also the OSTEVIT-D ONE-A-WEEK which is 7000IU per capsule. I kind of mix and match these with the cod liver oil.
Omg!! It’s been a while since you made this video but I’m so glad I came across your videos! This whole time I’m thinking I’m gonna die. My vitamin D level is currently at 16. Thank you so much for sharing. 🙏🏽
I think I’ve been deficient for probably 15 years at least… the crazy thing is, very few doctors are ever going to first resort to a blood test to check this as their first line of defense. Most will automatically write you out a prescription for something pharmaceutical. Now, what led up to me thinking that I was deficient? I used to be the most outgoing, carefree person in the world. Not much would bother me, and I’d be happy and playful like a child… one day, it was almost as if a switch went off. Like somebody had turned the power off from that person. Not knowing what it was for 15 years, I tried everything but pharmaceutical medication. Simply, because, I know the effects and side effects. Not to mention, how hard they are to get off. So I avoided them. Just sort of lived in this almost zombie like state of being… Where I never felt happy or sad or anything in between. Not to mention, my ability to focus and get things done like music… was almost nonexistent. As I couldn’t sit for more than 15 minutes without moving onto something else. It was only a few months ago, where I started seeing these videos about deficiency, and how people were feeling when they were deficient that I started to take notice and decided to take a chance to see if it worked. Even a few days in taking a combo D3/K2 supplement, I noticed that I was feeling more joyful. I was starting to look at things like I used to, with a sense of wonder… and most importantly, I was feeling a tiny bit more like my original self. Which is a godsend after all of these years. Because I had all but given up on hope of ever getting it back. There is definitely something to this. Remember, you have to take K2 with the D3, and also a easily soluble version of magnesium. All three of them work together, to one: keep calcium from building up in your system… And also to boost each other’s efficiencies. Try it… what do you have to lose? It’s definitely better than the pharmaceutical route. Something that I fear doctors have been programmed against and pharmaceutical companies have been dreading people find out.
@@richardanjello2207 i’m doing good, thank you. Definitely coming out of the fog that had been my life for too many years. I find it kind of appalling that doctor don’t do the tests needed in order to check peoples levels of vitamins and minerals, to search for deficiencies before they automatically divert to pharmaceutical medications. I think that there’s just too much collusion in the medical profession between the two entities. So much so, that it fogs peoples perceptions and allows them to be persuaded away from natural causes of issues in automatically connect their patients with pharmaceutical solutions. Our bodies are well oiled machines, and if any one level of any vitamin or mineral is off… It can spark a whole lot of issues. The same thing with the stomach. The health of the flora and bacteria in our stomach, can cause a plethora of issues with mental health and the feeling of well-being. Doctors tend to automatically put people on SSRI’s, which only mask the issue and don’t take care of the actual problem, causing the issue. Which means people have to be proactive in their own health and force their doctor into testing them for these things. Because otherwise, the doctor will laugh at all. I have a doctor that I go to that does the same thing with anything that isn’t pharmaceutical. It makes me laugh, because you can see he’s a product of the system. He’s a great guy, and I love talking to him, but , he has been taught just like most… That the only good way is the pharmaceutical one. So, I hope I continue to improve. I have slowly been improving over time. I think again, everybody needs to take their health into their own hands and make sure they cure the issue before they mask the problem. Because that is only kicking the can down the road, which can cause greater issues in the future for them.
I appreciate the first video you uploaded and this one as well. Vitamin D deficiency made me feel like I was dying. I had so many bad symptoms. Just started the treatment and feel optimistic about the future.
@@BeardsandCarshow long does it takes to start improvement this is my second week but not feeling well headache log engry feeling burning sensation in hands and feet😢
I have been taking D3 (4000 IU) and K2 everyday for a month now. It has made me feel so much better. But I am still not able to get rid of the brain fog and my eyes are still blurry some days. I guess because I am taking a small dose but I will keep taking it and wait a few months to see what happens. Also, when I got sick and my vision was completely blurred a month ago I also had eye floaters, but they have almost disappeared now, so that’s an improvement right there. I have two friend who take D3 everyday and have been taking it for years now so I don’t think you can put it down once you know you’re deficient or were deficient.
@@tawanabellamy8686 Much better! Although I got sick this month and took antibiotics and I think I depleted my vitamins again, but these supplements definitely make a difference. I am also taking omega 3 now for brain and eyes.
I just found your video! I thought I was alone on this. My vitamin d was 11.9 last summer, I am now up to 18.9. It's a struggle everyday. I'm still on my 50,000 iu and being checked next week. Thanks for videos that give me hope.
Check out peak performance supplements Vitamin d Vitamin k blend. Mine was that low I felt like straight shit. I found this supplement and it works great. I take 10,000 iu everyday. Only take Vitamin d with k.
This makes me want to take one of those micronutrients tests. We just don’t get enough nutrients from the soil anymore. One of those is magnesium. Something is wrong with the soil that makes the fruits and veggies not absorb the nutrients. I’m so happy you’re feeling better
I think my elderly parents are drained of magnesium, they are having all the symptoms and many of them are quite serious. My mother scoffed at me until a friend told her she took it and now Mom’s taking it. Hopefully when her sleep improves my dad will take it too. I’m taking it and sleeping and waking is wonderful. Everyone needs 300-400 magnesium and I’m only taking 200 high absorption glycinate.
I got tested at 51.9nmol/L (which is 20ng/ml) in the US. Optimal is between 100-150nmol/L. I felt like shit and was always tired, no libido at 31 and felt pointless. I ran 56,000iu per week (8000iu) per day with k2 and magnesium and got retested in 4 months and my levels were at 82.6 nmol/L. I feel amazing and have my motivation back that I thought was just a product of my early twenties, but I now feel I have been deficient for a few years and suffered unnecessarily throughout completing my PhD and professional lawyer examinations. I've put this comment to tell you two things: get tested and then adjust your intake based on those results. It will be worth it!! It is so important to get this done as believe me when I say that I am do happy it did not take me another few years to realise this. Much love from the UK and I hope all of you get well soon from this shit as it nearly ruined me, despite me only being borderline "deficient" (which is anything below 50 nmol/L).. IMO - the difference between only just "sufficient" and closer to OPTIMAL is HUGE!!!
I am in my fourth week. The brain fog has been a killer. It may possibly be easing a little. A few more weeks will tell. Living in Wales, I sympathise!
@colintyler1405 when supplementing vitamin D you have to take magnesium aswell too. As it eats up mag like crazy especially when you want to get you vit d levels up quick
@@corymcclane1514 I absolutely agree 💯 that's one thing that I noticed recently is that I had, and I'll spare the details, bad constipation, lethargy and insomnia from massively underestimating the extent that vit d utilities magnesium. My rule is to try and get MINIMUM 500mg of magnesium citrate or glycinate with the other co factors per 10,000 iu or it will deplete fast
@@danieldee8968 I find lemon tea helps in the bowel department. It is more down to the lemon than the tea. Or, lemon juice with carbonated water, which is fairly pleasant.
I'm just now getting better at week 10 of 12 weeks, 50K IU weekly just like you took. The symptoms had me thinking I needed to move into assisted living, it was so bad. You're helping so many people by addressing this issue that almost no one thinks about-- even doctors!!
Thanks for your invaluable comments. This vit "d" diff seems a very illusive culprit. My symptoms are comparable to some of the experiences such as exhaustion, fatigue, extreme lack of energy and sleeping round the clock. I just sit there, want to get up and deliberate for an hour. My main challenge is vertigo. Constipagion has been cleared up thankfully, neuropathy in feet and legs improving. Tennetus has cleared up but vertigo persists. I keep off the tablet where the vertigo and accompanying problems started and have greatly reduced my exposure to the phone. Visited my doctor 2 weeks, I need to change him but I could do with changing the only support on my team as well. I will get back to you if ears will listen and minds made over. I deeply appreciate the info and heartfelt comments.😊
I got diagnosed with this horrible condition three days ago, my level was estimated at 10 ng/ml, i have been suffering like crazy for six months , my symptoms include the following : lack of concentration , fatigue( i can barely walk), knees and hips stifness, muscles pain, depression(i don't wanna leave my room), my GP ordered me plenty of blood tests , all came clear but vitamin D and Calcium levels (Calcium came slightly low), i have been told that my symptoms caused by vitamin D deficiency , my GP put me on 50000 iu a day for ten days, then 50000 iu per week for one month , then i must take 50000 iu on monthly basis for an indefinitive period of time , i hope that will ease my excruciating symptoms . Life isn't fair 😢
I found a video with someone with the same level as me. I’m 18.3 and she was 18. Basically the same symptoms as me especially shortness of breath which scared me a lot. Yesterday I went to a new doctor a great doctor that actually help me recover from a cough. He gave me 10,000UI with K2 and I felt like crap still until 6PM I felt good! I woke up good and all day I felt good. My shortness of breath I didn’t feel it today! I know there’s going to be some days great and bad days like she said but I’m going to fight it!

I was told by my Oncologist NOT to take Vitamin D3, because she had read/told that from a Japanese study that it is NOT good for bone marrow cancer patients, which I am. My friend too who had it (she passed away a month ago) was told by her doctors the same thing. I'm leery, because I've been into taking supplements for 40 years, and always felt they enhanced your health not hurt it. I've been in SO much pain since stopping. My teeth have been damaged & had to have the top removed. I am so pissed, because I listened to her. Thanks so much for the vid. We need people like you to call this information out. I started at 25 now 68 (UK) and it took me twelve months at 3000 units per day because my GP didn't give me the right direction. I presumed I was much higher by now but having been retested last week it's 68. I have increased my dose to 5000 units per day and had less brain fog in just three days of taking it. I really think everyone is different re: levels and symptoms. Listen to your body folks it know what's best. I hope everyone gets better from this terrible. Misunderstood illness. ❤️
@@wigga4264 I haven't re-tested. GPs are hopeless when it comes to re tests especially when in 'their view' its OK. I stayed on 5000 units for a few weeks and now back to 3000 units per day. But sadly I have been diagnosed with M.E so my symptoms were not all linked with Vitamin D. But the ones that were have improved. But still some work to do. I recommend at least 3000 units per day regardless as to what your levels may be. Especially over Winter.
@@seascape1059 Thanks for your reply! I started ordering tests online to save dealing with GPs ... You can order tests most GPs have never heard of. I don't know much about M.E. Is there a treatment that helps with that? Was the brain fog Vitamin D or M.E do you think?
@@wigga4264 you're very welcome. Happy to help ☺️. I agree online blood tests are great. If in the UK. Medichecks are good and it's what I used and then went to the GP (they then do their own, which are alittle more accurate). But online ones give you a really good indication and aren't far off the mark. I still have severe brain fog, so it's mostly to do with M.E but I also had anemia, low Vit D and low B12 running alongside it. I have increased all my vit levels and had iron infusions but I still have brain fog and fatigue etc. So M.E is the likely reason for symptoms remaining. However, the vitamins have helped as I was bedbound originally. There's no treatment for M.E. It's under researched and pretty much the same as Long Covid (identical even).
I swear it is amazing how overlooked basic vitamin and mineral balances are. My anxiety was 100% related to low vitamin d. I would say the symptoms just started fading away in the 10-14 day range. I do 10,000ui daily. Hoovering in the upper 40s at that.
I took 100000 IU's yesterday and 75000 today... Most of my symptoms are disappearing rapidly. The first thing to go within 6 hours of 100000 IU's was anxiety. My hands and feet are finally warm....
Wow I'm so glad I found this Yeah my level was 16 and I felt Like I was dying..I told my de to check my level and am now taking 50,000 weekly. My legs hurt so much, I have anxiety and feel afraid to be alone.. Its getting better and I have to be patient with this process..Thank you for this video. Also I can drink coffee either now. Makes my body ache.. Thanks again
I´was recently (5 days or so) detected with D3 deficiency at 14. I´m 39yo, undetected depression since before my 20´s, and at least 8 years with anxiety, lack of motivation, back and general body pains, mental slowness, becoming bald, etc, etc... Today I started to take my first of 4 prescribed dozes of 100.000 UI every 2 weeks. Man, Im really hoping it works and this thing ends sooner. Thanks for the D3 vit videos Sr., gives us a lot of hope to went throught this. (Sorry about my english, not native speaker. and no G translate either xD)
I really can't begin to explain the thankfulness I could express when I seen you're vid 2 months ago for about 1 and half yrs had some health problems pop up and after surgery for thyroid and gallbladder I still felt like shit I had to literally walk away from job because syptoms were so bad dizzy spells I had to move in back with my mom and the doctor would just say nothings wrong when they did tests and blamed it on sleep apnea and I said no I feel like im dying or being poisoned I switched doc after you're first video and told new doc what was up and that I know I'm not crazy zomthing is wrong and low n behold my viatmin d was a 6 and now a month into taking doc prescribed 50,000 iu supplement its starting to fade and I am starting sleep better and just enjoying everything again hopefully it gets really good after 2 more months of meds and will start taking a daily after that. Sorry for long rant but I literally thought my life was over .
i finally got a complete blood work done and yesterday had a follow up with my doc for the results i am vitamin d deficient and it was pretty darn low to and the symptoms you said it's basically is like mine!!! i suffer with vertigo and take meds for it to chill it out, and my muscles are Hella sore my bones are so darn achy and have digestive issues as well that are the most likely cause of the problem. So the doc gonna put me once a week pill for 3,000 iu for about 3 weeks or more just to see if that helps. oh and the brain fog is most deff there time to time. anxiety is out the ass as well just going to town got me anxious and holy hell i hated it even going to the doc for a appointment i would have a full anxiety problem.
I’ve been deficient since for the past 15 years. I can’t believe that this may have been the source of all of my issues. My docs have tested in as part of my routine blood work over the past couple of years but never mentioned the seriousness of this issue. Im taking it serious now and hoping I can undue most if not all of the issues I developed over the years.
Thank you sir for making this video. I have a low vitamin d 6.3 I m feeling the same thing but day by day i m feeling better still have vertigo and i hope it will diminish also. I m taking 60k IU per week.
your still doing something, you need a vitamin d coach like my self to guide you properly - that vertigo will never leave unless you figure out this one thing
I felt better from the first pill, true story. But my symptoms weren't as bad as yours, but for example my muscle pain in my arms went away after the first 2 days. It's incredible.
I definitely experienced that sleep weirdness with the 50,000 IU pill. I took that before bed once and never again. Trippiest dreams I've ever had. Absolutely agree that things improved for me once I started taking significant doses of vitamin D. I was at a 7 once and was fine but at 23 the symptoms were severe. I think your mind just augments whatever you are going through exponentially when you are deficient in some of these vitamins.
Hi low vitamin d victim here 👋🏻 im on week 8 of vitamin d3 +k2 and magnesium supplementation..im just now starting to feel soooome improvement but still struggling..my symptoms are panic attacks, anxiety, brain fog , memory problems, aches , headaches, head pressure, chest pain , feeling unbalanced, ear clog , fatigue!! , feeling heaviness like if im dragging my body for simple tasks ...list goes on 😭😭😭 consistency is key dont give up !! 🙏🏻 Unfortunately its a slow journey to recovery but we got this !!
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I have tried to share with my dad about everything I have learned over the past 2 years related to the importance of vitamin D3. In one ear and out the other. I have tried to share videos from trusted medical professionals but he has no interest in watching. I will be seeing him tomorrow and ask that he take a few minutes to watch this video. I am hoping that if he hears this information from someone that he may have more in common with… hears the real life impact this supplement has had on your overall health, he will be more inclined to listen. I have watched countless videos myself. It is my understanding that daily dose is better than weekly. To minimize risk of heart complications because of calcification, vitamin K2 (M7) is imperative. Taking in the morning with high fat (avocado) food is also advised. Wanted to make sure you had this info before signing off… thanks again for sharing!
My elderly parents scoffed at me regarding magnesium until a friend their age told them she took it. They ran right out and got it and did a 180, pretending they were open to it all along. Find a peer who takes it, secretly tell them to mention it, and watch what happens when parents find out. Seniors aren’t going to listen to their kids.
I would like to add another note to this video which can help many of us as well Everything he described I felt for about 20 years It started since I was 25 yrs old I was very active and normal weight fit I went through so many DRs and all my blood work came out perfect so they said it was all in my brain That just made it worse It didn’t stop me from going out and enjoying my life because I fought for my joy even though I was dying inside I grow up being a hard worker I fought throw it and made a successful carrier Now the point I’m making is I finally figured out exactly what was wrong with me I had sleep apnea And the crazy thing about it is that 90% of all my symptoms are gone You would have never thought I would have had sleep apnea What I’ve learned is that when you don’t have enough oxygen in your blood Your body will make you feel just about every symptom described in this video plus more You could check your oxygen levels. and you won’t catch it t will show normal So my suggestion is to check if you have sleep apnea as well and be ready for people to laugh at you if you appear to be skinny. Now I’m thinking my extra 10% bone pain could be vitamin D deficiency It sucks that we sometimes have to dig in more then our DRs care to do I felt lonely for along time. I would have to do along video to describe what I went through it was insane what I lived but never fell into depression but I could see how many of us can God bless you and hopefully many of you read this and I hope there’s another answer Keep in mind sleep apnea doesnt mean you’ll catch it in one day Sometimes it takes 3 days to see if you have it ❤ Side note Thin nose Large neck Central apnea any body weight B1 deficiency There’s more I can’t remember right now but do some research
@mryesman4189 My sons kept watching me sleep every night for about one week And they saw me struggling with my breathing So they would count to see how many seconds I would stop breathing My sons said i would hold my breath for about 35 seconds and then I would exhale The crazy thing about it is that I had a hard time believing that I would do that But sure enough I was getting worse and worse so I started to buy mouth pieces to try them out None of them worked for me I purchaed a tongue one that makes your tongue stick out your mouth like the way those dogs sleep them British bull dogs :) That worked at times but keep in mind I had a tongue issue but not until I got the cpap machine it was a completely different story My issue was that my tongue would fold back and block my throat after it would relax I had a friend that I helped as well he was going through anxiety and a little depression so I decided to sleep over his house to watch him sleep and sure enough his nostrils inside seemed to collapsed so he had a hard time breathing he would not inhale or exhale not even open his mouth to breath so he would always have really bad dreams I would wake him up as he was holding his breath Weirdest thing was his issue was his nose He also got a cpap machine and he’s like a champ now Skinny guy 5”8 150 pounds Hopefully this helps you out I feel like a champ immediately when I started using it Everyday day it got better and better I’m in love with that machine Things that make it worse that I’ve noticed Late dinners and you sleep right away Alcohol No exercise But honestly with the cpap machine I’ve gotten away with all of it I’ve been using the cpap machine now for about 8 years The best thing I’ve ever done I was scared at first to use it It went away the first time I used it
@@javisElectraWarehouse thanks a lot for the reply, I’ve been on a healing journey and I’ve come a long way. I’ve done most of this through emotional/trauma work, different stuff over the years and I have come far. But I feel like something is holding me back, so now I’m gonna check all vitamin/mineral and hormone levels but I will do a sleep study as well. Cause I just feel like it’s always 2 step forward 2.5 steps back.
@@mryesman4189 Don’t give up Remember DRs are extremely busy people They can’t really fully dedicate there time to us So take control I started taking magnesium and 10,000d3 and k2 For about 2 weeks and then 5000 d3 with k2 for a month Look online for the right amount of k2 for the D3 That helps tremendously as well I’ll take it for about 1 month and I’ll stop for a month and start again etc Research it so you wont overwhelmed your mind. Also before I would go to bed I concentrate how nice it is to feel my body on my bed and and I concentrate on how beautiful life is Looking for positive feelings every-time you sleep as weird as it sounds but it works Remind yourself how good it is to be here Negative thinking will make you wake up the same way Try it and you’ll see what I’m talking about
Just been diagnosed. I can’t believe I’ve suffered like this for such a long time! Couldn’t even climb the stairs for the weakness or getup from the floor. Bone and pain, aching and restless legs! I’ve had relief after three days. Doc put me on 30,000. D and k supplement and told me to take magnesium citrate too. I can’t believe it! Brain fog? I’d forgotten how sharp I was, depression? I can now see the world in colour !
@@BeardsandCars Thankyou ! It’s early days but I’m hoping I can walk the dog to the end of the lane by the weekend. Only a short walk but I just can’t believe it. It’s a miracle vitamin
I just came across your videos and they have helped so much!! I also had that weird pain/ache on my head and I believe vitamin d has helped it go away. Also my depression and anxiety has tremendously improved. Thank you for your help
I so …appreciate your video! I was tested a year ago for several vitamin deficiencies and excessive amounts because of my blood pressure medication. They took me off of Triamterene 75MG/HCTZ 50 MG it was making my calcium so high it made them uncomfortable… to what was causing the issue. They also said your vitamin D hormone is dangerously low to start taking vitamin D. I didn’t take them seriously until now because they didn’t emphasize how serious this was…when I realized my symptoms were increased. I went to several doctors specializing in different health issues to realize most of my symptoms were connected to low vitamin D. My hair was thinning at an accelerated rate especially at the temples and crown and not growing past 1/4 of an inch, they said it was DHT, aging and stress. The finasteride and minoxidil did very little for me and I had arm and leg muscle weakness. My anxiety has been through the roof where I couldn’t function working around people. I became extremely afraid of people avoiding them. I also had pressure in my head, borderline type 2 diabetes, my heart pounding in my chest with an elevated blood pressure. And I keep getting chest colds. Then I saw your video and got a wake up call. The following day I called my endocrinologist asking for a vitamin D prescription she told me to just purchase some over the counter, I had heard not all vitamin D on the shelves is vitamin D but is cheap oils, so I called my doctor back insisting for a prescription. They sent the order to my local pharmacy and my insurance company paid for it… that’s how important vitamin D hormone is! I’ve been on 1,000 units since 5.21.2024! I don’t think that’s enough vitamin D for my system and the problems I’m having… but that’s what they prescribed for me. You have to be proactive about your medical care…after all hospitals are into the money making business at the expense of their sick patients…unfortunately. They don’t all have your best interests at heart. They are good at not finding the root of the problem to fix it. They can’t loose out on increasing the capital gains for their business. Let’s see what happens… I’m hoping to feel better soon.
as the leading voice on youtube for vitamin d - i can tell you - you are doing all the wrong things - and im sorry you gotta go through this - As a person who was deficient i can guide you - i do one on one calls - check my page for more info
I don’t have a beard hahaha unless we count a few “lady stache” hairs when I forget to pluck. But I’m subscribing because your two vit.D videos have been so helpful and I enjoy your energy so much!
I have struggled with it big time and a few months ago I came across a bunch of videos about vitamin D deficiency (yours included) and knew there must be a link. A few days ago I hit a wall with it and then realized I also need to take magnesium with vitamin D so my blood can absorb the vitamin D correctly. Broke through that wall.
Yeah been going through a rough time lately had severe anxiety attacks bad insomnia combined with balance issues stress was a big factor and finally went to see my doctor blood test came back with high cholesterol and low vitamin D I don’t think I didn’t think much about the vitamin d deficiency until I found your videos and more similar ones which explains a lot of what I have been going through my doctor gave me daily supplements hoping they will help and start my recovery as well as diet change and lifestyle changes
I had bloodwork done mid November. Went to pick up a prescription and was given vitamin D. I didn't know why and refused it. I came across your 1st video and things sounded familiar. Picked up the prescription of vitamin D the next day. Had a doctor's appointment coming up so figured I should ask. Doctor said I was at 15. I had been dealing with a constant slight dizziness since my stroke last year in December. I just figured it was a permanent stroke effect. Today I just took my 4th weekly pill of 50,000. Still dizzy. I hope this corrects it. If it wasn't for your video I would not have made the connection and ignored it. Thanks.
If anyone reading recent comments I highly recommend you eating sardines 2-3 times a week. It may be disgusting bu it makes a difference in calcium omega 3 and vitamin D.
ty for talking about this, we cant speak about this enough!! crazy how doctors havent learned about this yet. or about other deficiencies, its really LUCK if the doctor knows what we all be talking about.
Would absolutely love to see a video update about every single symptom, and in detail about the head pain...going through the same thing now 😢 top right for-head weird ache....
hey! nice update, sorta sounds like we did things the opposite, after my mega doses i took 5k for awhile the 3 k then 0k in supplements, im now just getting my d form food and the sun 8 months in and i still have the vertigo and brain fog but im noticing slight improvement i wonder if peoples recovery times an methods differ on a person to person basis as well? whats funny to me is that you posted your 1st vid a few days after my symptoms hit but itd be a full month before i found your video, glad i did tho, i didnt have any type of support and when i was at my worst thinking that this is my life now i wont improve, id load up your video and listen to remind my self im not alone and that there is hope , tho at same time seeing that you hadn't fully recovered still yet bothered me a bit since you were nearly 2 times my vit d level when you found out. thanks for making the videos and keeping engaged with all of us that had questions and such, youve definitely gone beyond what most anyone else has done on RU-vid for vit d deficiency heres hoping you full recover soon tho and no one has to spend even a year before recovering! lets get well fast!
Yes I'm assuming everyone will be different as far as recovery goes..thank you so much amd I'll be praying for everyone including myself for a quick recovery.🙏🏻
I"m going through this right now and it's absolutely awful. The vertigo/dizziness was the worst part but I've also experienced: panic attacks with increased heart rate, sore neck/back. sleeping problems, sluggish breathing, depression, extreme fatigue and lethargy. 2 months of this misery.
As the leading voice on youtube that only focuses on vitamin d deficiency - i can help you - check my page - i also do one on one calls - no one should suffer
Hah just finished your video, had the same exact thing happen to me! I suffer with anxiety and had Low vitamin d for 3 years now. when taking the vitamin d pill, it gave me little more anxiety when I Started taking it, kinda gave me a little panic too. Couldn’t sleep for crap It’s week 4 now and feeling better and better slowly, but wondering if the extra anxiety was from the pill cause I’ve been living so long with low levels that my body was like “what is this feeling” Felt like extra energy lol that I wasn’t use to.
Thank you for your first video, I am low and starting to feel better after a month but still not quite there, but glad I know because I was very anxious and upset!! For whatever reason your video really hit home for me!!! I can’t thank you enough
Hi James. Just found your vids about vitamin D buddy. Man you described your symptoms and they’re the same things I’m experiencing also. Wanted to ask you how are you feeling now?
I Watched Your First Video My Doctor Only Gave Me A Months Worth So Far It’s Off and On When I’m Driving I Feel The Pain In My Left Foot My Right Foot Was In Pain When I Was At Work I’m On 50000 Units 1 Per Week It Did Ease Off Some I Have 3 More Pills Left Felt Like My Arm Was Broken The Pain Was So Unbearable Having Suicid@l Thoughts Living Outside My Body Saying I Rather Die Then Live Like This Only Thing Gave Me Strength Was God Worth Getting B12 Vitamins As Well For Nerve and Brain Function
Hey man, your videos are actually really great and paced well. Your information is so important and good. I am currently still suffering and im really trying to get my doctor's advice to boost my dosage. (I was 11ng/ml in march 2023, was recommened to take 1kiu a day for 2 months, switched to 20000 weekly and i still have symptoms).
I (around 180-185 pounds) supplement with 6500 iu of D3 daily and my levels are 43 ng/ml...just within the range marked as acceptable. I didn't measure my levels before starting to supplement but it was winter in central europe so I probably had suboptimal levels. What I noticed after 4-6 weeks was a decrease in muscle soreness after working out, better sleep and better energy levels throughout the day. From all the supplements I ever took Vitamin D was one of the few with a very noticeable positive effect.
Video Host, we are the same age, both have beards, peppered, we have same issues. I feel like you are better than family to me. Your appearance & honesty makes me feel normal. I have no Doc to trust. I have many issues mentioned (for longtime) in this video & in these comments. I am taking 15 000 IU Vitamin D drops for approx. 3 weeks & don't feel different. I hate my life in Canada, too north, too dark, cold (you know what I am saying? Most of US is similar). For my health, suffering longtime, decades, I want to be free & healthy so I am relocating somewhere warm, restarting my life. Health & God 1st. I can't help anyone if I am not helping & healthy, happy. I would like to connect with you.
Vitamin D Level 10...Im feeling unbalanced during the day, everyday. When I'm working it's a bit better but I can feel the dizziness and unbalance is still there. I also feel it when I sleep.
